Have you spent any time reading the comments from regular, everyday readers, who aren't part of the "elite" Biden suddenly wants to attack. These people despise Trump and are lifelong Democrats and are terrified after what they saw in the debate. They are also angry that Biden's handlers have been hiding him so carefully. If the debate was only one bad night, as they're now claiming, why were they not letting him do press conferences for many months before the debate?
What have they done about SCOTUS’s decisions? Nothing, like always just complain, threaten and gaslight👍🏻

Boycott the New York Times. I cancelled my subscription over their bias in 2024 election coverage. And I told them so. The op ed after the debate was the last straw.
In that case You might want to read the thousands of comments posted on the Times site from average, everyday readers, all of them longtime Democrats, and all of them agreeing with the article. Many are furious with Biden aides for trying to keep things hidden, as in rarely allowing him to do press conferences where he would have to think fast and on his feet. And yet they claimed to be "shocked" by what happened at the debate. Many Democrats are angry that the response has been that Biden had a cold and jet lag. From that flight 12 days earlier.
Remember Stephen Hawking? His immense contribution to science was irrespective of visuals or disabled natural speech.
Don't judge a book by it's cover.
When the candidate has difficulty even finishing a coherent sentence, and that candidate wants to be president, it's concerning.
“Make no mistake” “I really mean it” “I know I look like a 40 year old” can Joe’s speech writer use some creativity in the speeches. These expressions are repetitive and annoying. When you have to say you really mean it, the suggestion is that you don’t!
I don't like the right-wing bent that CBS is leaning into. I have slowed watching CBS, due to sniping attitude from Ed and Robert Costa, with Stoltenburg, on Face the Nation. It's embarrassing, how combative these reporters have become, leading to losses in ratings, and respect, built by others for over 40yrs.
Very presidential speech Joe Biden,. Thank you so much. Thank you also to Lawrence O'Donnell for turning the narrative away from bashing Biden for the criminality of age, while ceasing to bring attention to the true criminality and frightening intentions in a second Trump term. Look honestly at these two. Choose the man who represents the nobility and wisdom we should all expect in our president. There is only one choice. ❤

It looks like the Biden's is catching, Lawrence seems to have difficulty grasping for words.
Okay, I'm a novice at all of this so somebody better qualified needs to explain this to me. I am a 95B US Army Military Police Vet. that was there when the Berlin wall came down and I helped German Police round up the illegals. I served honorably in the US Army and later I worked as a contractor for DHS and NGIA.
At what point did we forget that Ukraine was the bride and cofounder of the USSR in 1922? At what point did we forget that the crimes of the USSR are just as much the fault of the bride of Russia as Russia itself? At what point did we forget that after the divorce in 1991 and up until 2019 Ukraine was ran by a Russian puppet? At what point did we forget that Ukraine is the second most corrupt state in Europe, behind Russia? At what point did society decide that the former bride of Russia is respectable enough to bring home and introduce her to your mom?
To me, she made her bed and better go find a halfway house. I would not introduce her to my mom or let her watch my dog. Wouldn't even drop a dollar on the sidewalk next to her. So why is the west embracing her?
It is not that hard to understand. Putin's goal is precisely to turn Ukraine into his puppet again and Republicans do everything to support Putin in this goal. Ukrainians had to fight hard to get rid of their pro-Russian leadership and instead introduce actual democracy. And as to corruption, while not as severe as in Russia, yes, it is a problem in Ukraine and it is part of the legacy of its autocratic past. That's why it is not fit yet to join the EU now but it is making progress. Right now, though, the main priority his helping Ukraine against the Russian aggressor and prevent Russians from committing massacres and war crimes as much as possible.

This great President, Joe Biden, has had a stuttering issue his entire life and he does have to try to control every word he says to keep from stuttering. I think he does a great job speaking in spite of this disability. Joe Biden, makes sense when he speaks to crowds. People understand clearly what he is saying and he speaks the way a real President should speak. President Biden, has heart and he truly cares and takes the most important job in the USA seriously and handles issues responsibly. Can you say that about #45?

Lawrence is usually one of my favourite MSNBC hosts, but he seems so wrapped up in defending Biden that he pretends not to notice the main concern. It's legitimate to point out that it would have been easy to check whether the Parkinson's specialist who visited the White House was there when Biden was even in Washington. A good point. So yes it's possible the only time Biden saw a Parkinsons specialist was during his regular physical exam, as the White House says. But Lawrence is still casually ignoring or brushing aside the point many geriatricians and other medical doctors have made and the reason this has become such a big story: that the symptoms he showed during that debate were consistent with Parkinson's or similar problems. You don't need a medical degree to know this was not a cold or jet lag. So whether he was seen by the specialist or not during the past year, it's clear he should be seen by somebody, after that very concerning performance. When pressed in the ABC interview to have a cognitive exam and release the results, BIden refused, and just said "I'm tested every day in this job." Yes, he is, and we saw what happened in the debate. What guarantees are there that there will not be a similar episode between now and the election? Of course, Trump should also be seen by a medical specialist, for the regular bizarre rants about sharks and boats and his slurring of words and mixing up of words. But Trump would never do anything like that, so it's impossible to even hope in his case that he would do the decent and expected thing. We expect better of Biden.
