- This poem was commissioned by BT Sport for their matchday coverage of Leicester City v Leeds United on Saturday 5 March 2022. It was Leeds' first fixture since the highly emotive sacking of club legend Marcelo Bielsa.
mattabbottpoet....
t is very sad that Leeds have fired Marcelo Bielsa. With Marcelo we saw the best Leeds football of the last 50 years
Crying right now!
Sadness and euphoria!!!
Still tears tho. 💙🤍💛.
Here we go with leeds united. 👌
February 2023 and we still miss you. You did so much and gave so much to the club you'll be a legend here at Leeds 'At Least Until The World Stops Going Round' come back some day Gracias Marcelo, Gracias El Loco
Think the club treated our savior appallingly. Jesse might be a good fit but I don’t believe we would have gone down with MB in charge. Disgusted with the board 🤬
Your delusional mate we were all but down he had to go , he took us as far as he could and i love him for what he did but his man to man marking doesn't work at the top level .
@@MARTIN-bd7gm Keep your crappy opinions to yourself.
@@MARTIN-bd7gm Oh it does work mate ,,,, But , only when all 11 do it. When 1 or 2 have had enough then it goes wrong...His mistake was not to bin the culprit(s).
es muy triste que el Leeds haya despedido a Marcelo Bielsa. Con Marcelo vimos el mejor fútbol del Leeds de los últimos 50 años
Gracias Marcelo biesla
Thanks Mr Bielsa 🇦🇷 for getting Leeds United 🦚 back in the big time you gave us hope the whole club & city brought together as ONE we All fell in love with this Unique football again because of so many heartaches & nearly going out of business. It was a sad day when you departed Leeds United it shouldn't of happened this way,we will never forget you part of your Soul will always be with Leeds United 🦚 football club, but most of all with us the football supporter's of Leeds United 🦚 true Gentleman, humble Gentleman one of a kind heart of a 🦁 lion we love you forever Mr Bielsa 👏🇦🇷 Respect 🇦🇷🤍💛💙👊✊🇮🇨 a Gentleman from Argentina 🇦🇷💥✊ who played for his beloved Newell's ❤️🖤🇦🇷 & knows what it is to support & follow a football club that means so much to people. Thanks Newell's ❤️🖤🇦🇷 for such a legendary Gentleman 👏 love you forever Mr Bielsa 👏🇮🇨🇦🇷🤍💛💙❤️🖤🇦🇷🦚💥

He was, and is, and ever shall be, unique. He created a true club spirit in the Corinthian ethos. And my God how we needed him. I just pray the passion he demanded and inspired will remain now he has gone.
this man managing a club with money to spend on w.e player he wants , i swear would win every club title
I honestly can’t believe Manchester utd didn’t come for him
Hermoso!!! 😍
A year on... it still breaks my heart 💔

Fantastic. I hope a link has been sent to him. ❤
Bielsa was a class act in a league all of its own.
He will never be forgotten
Come on leeds
❤
💙🖤💛
Muy emocionante! Gracias.
Shameful treatment of a legend. I no longer support this hollow American franchise of a club.
I find stuff like this sickening and it's why we always struggle. A lot of wet bollocks about it being the end of an era and we should get behind Jesse Marsch. He should have written a poem about it being a fatal mistake and we needed to scream Marsch out and demand Bielsa's return.
