Haha, I can relate - recently noticed when I run with my glasses on (for mild short sightedness) I can't read my Garmin watch anymore easily.. nipped for an eye test last week and have a pair of varifocals on the way, age eh? Looks like your fitness is coming back nicely.
Exactly! Yes with contacts I can’t always read the watch as easily but now I have varifocal glasses I can so that generally wins. Bloody age. Anyway thank you yes I think I’m getting back slowly. Just competed a 40K week for the first time in a while so 🤞🏻
The old person long sightedness is a bit poopy for sure 👎 I found out about it when, having worn glasses for short sightedness since the age of 10, I went in for laser surgery at 45. They basically fixed one eye for perfect distance vision and one for close up, to put off having to wear reading glasses for another decade or so, hopefully. Old age is not as fun as Victor Meldrew would have you believe!
Absolutely! Oh so you've got different eyes now? I tried the old one contact lens for distance one for close thing and I hated it. Looks like glasses or contacts with reading glasses for me from now on! x
@@TheRichKeeble yes, I have odd eyes 🤪 They gave me odd contact lenses first to make sure I would be ok with it. Took some getting used to but ended up ok.
Did you hear about the sandwich who went to the doctor? He went to the mayo clinic. Did you hear about this Indian who wanted to make and sell sandwiches? He opened a New Delhi. PS you should use some of your fine humor in your clips. Eg used Condom instead of the packet in the bin!
