      Pixabay has recently updated their website downloading. It's still free, the download button is still green and located on the right side of the screen with a 1/2 arrow pointing down indicating more download options of resolution or file types. I recommend creating a log in account (also free) before downloading. Thanks for watching and hope this helps.

    Hi there, do you have a tutorial on how to use a color photo and adjust it to b&w to engrave?

    • @thelaserchannel1

      Thanks! The lion image was a stock image from a long time ago... can't recall where I sourced it, but Pixiabay.com is a great resource for images! Settings- I used Grey Scale 0-100% at 100 mm/s this all depends on the type of wood used and the wood finish. Thanks for watching!

    Enjoyed your video. Trying to learn as much as I can before my x tool arrives. Where it you get the wooden hold downs you used or did you make them?

    • @thelaserchannel1
      @thelaserchannel1  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Jon- I have these two links- this first one is what I'm using, community.glowforge.com/t/honeycomb-bed-holdown-pins/18652 I just had to scale it to make is little smaller for the xtool honeycomb bed. Here's another one that should work: facebook.com/groups/xtoold1/permalink/3293173647672207
      Let me know if either of them work for you! I used 1/4" birch plywood for mine. Dollar Tree plywood can also work with some size scaling! Enjoy!

    Do you have a cut file for the tee tie down?

    • @thelaserchannel1
      @thelaserchannel1  ปีที่แล้ว

      Cut file added to the description. Resize the t-pin as needed to fit your honeycomb; each brand has a slightly differently size.
