Thank you to everyone who shared and reposted this video and for all the amazing comments!! I did not think it would get so much attention. If i did, I probably would have not have swore so much! 🤦♀️ I was so excited in that moment and I was just overwhelmed by the sight. So I apologize for the language! And THANK YOU TO THE COMMUNITY for making 2020 NYE so EPIC!! Fireworks are not cheap, and all your hard earned money is sacrificed to keep our tradition alive! We all appreciate you!! Keep it going Hawaii!! Never let NYE die!
Awesome fireworks show/ celebrations in Hawaii Oahu Honolulu. Luv it all It was insane. It was a blast. Luv Kalihi fireworks show/celebrations.. Happy New Year's 2023 Hawaii. It's time 2 party. Had a good/ nice one 2.
If Covid is stopped by the end of the year we will come from the main land and visit this awesome site. Here in the states we all talk about Hawaii has the best firework show we have ever seen and a lot of us here would love to go see it. Thank you very very much Rambolani for this Master Piece of a video and Aloha from the Main land of Los Angeles California. God bless
Das right tita. Growing up, strong family ties with strong traditional values. Fireworks was a huge part of that once a year huge celebration. 4th of July little bit too. But the winter break was about huge get togetherness at papa and gramma house. No place like Hawai’i. The heart is soft but super duper strong.🤙🏼🙏🏼
Now this is how Hawaii celebrates The welcoming of the new year. It has been a tradition since before I was born and it still goes on till now. There is no laws that will stop Hawaii from doing what they been doing for so long to celebrate the new year. The harder the law the more the fireworks. And to all those that comes from the mainland or other places to live an think this is pollution think again we live in the ocean surrounded by tropical breeze. Yah so there are a few misfortune that happens. But when you factor in all the accidents deaths injuries fires and other things that’s going on all year why ain’t the laws on all of that are more strict and enforce......... Most laws on fireworks is because outsiders don’t understand our ways of celebration.
Right... Because trade winds TOTALLY stop particulate matter or larger debre from landing anywhere on the island, and the surrounding waters, fish, and reefs must LOVE IT. Not to mention the harm to native bird species. You are mistaken if you think tradition excuses everything, and delusional if you think it does no harm at all... Also, I'm not trying to say its the worst thing in the world either, its definitely even kind of impressive, and i can see how it would be a fun and exciting time, but you have to see there are consequences too... The military polutes far more in the area with live fire excersizes and other ways like through discharging sewage and waste water and sinking ships for practice reasons... And tourists liter and polute the water with sunscreen... So I understand wanting to tell mainlanders to shove and I get that I won't change your mind... But please consider the potential harm. Do some research.

Yes totally agree. also remember we are getting more and more mainland people that moves here they don't think hawaii has it's own culture and traditions because the mindset of America so when we do stuff like this they automatically have the mindset it's illegal so first impression they have is law & cops lmfao personally im born and raised here i will not let any outsider kick me down the barrel as a matter of fact ill light bigger and badder shit till I move people like that out of my area make them move back to where they came from. keep hawaii HAWAIIAN is what the saying was and will always be and if anyone knows the history of hawaii till now days we are still not part of the united states so why should we abide by American laws we're actually a 3rd world countrie. th-cam.com/video/EIOh5KMqXfA/w-d-xo.html
