DA treats his viewers to some power washing on this job. Seems like years since we last saw DA clean up a walkway. Very nice of DA to provide this extra service! Best channel on TH-cam! Cheers from South Florida.
customer: maybe we shoudl use the camera so we get an idea about how deep it is olli: yea thats a great idea we should do that also olli: continues to drill random holes lol
At this point...Ollie knows exactly where it's going to be just about every time. Though this is a rare episode...it's got "Nobody knows for sure." pipes with drilling, and a very nice long power wash. Also...Return of Robot Arm Glitch Walking.
When you started drilling, my thoughts were rather jumbled about, kinda like the engineers who dreamed up that beauty and the company that installed the grated drain…. You figured it out, kudos and God’s blessings on you!😊
G'day Ollie. Yes,hammer drill for the win(thank you Greg and of course Coda). Your drill took a hammering🤣 and I dare say that drill bit may now be blunt!! Thank you for the "extra" cleaning of the driveway. I know a lot of us like to watch this. Have a great and productive week ahead.Safe unplugging.👍👍👍
Those of us who do nothing have a perfectly organized toolbox, while professionals, on the other hand, have it in a mess but always find what they need.
And oh my god was that so bad you are a angel for cleaning his walk way poor man could have fell your so sweet i bet he was super happy hugs from Arizona
Australia's best in action, gets the job done no matter what, sometimes with a little help, but he is Australia's best, Sir Drain Addict, all good indeed .....
The thing about pressure washing is that once you start, it is hard to stop. A path turns into a driveway. A driveway turns into the steps. The steps turn into the front landing. The front landing turns into the walls. The walls turn into the car wash.
"That's not a drill, here's a drill. Just kids, having fun." So glad there were no bad surprises, no electrical cords, wires, conduits. Good job Ollie, I was holding my breath.
Late as usual but I'm here now watching. Another great video blocked drain 😂 love the doggo beautiful, a new helper 😊 greetings from Everett Washington USA
Morning Ollie and Ratty. Morning also to Greg and Koda the Wonder dog. There there Ratty, Boss Ollie still loves you. Koda the Wonder dog is just moment thing, your the one that is his side kick and goes home with Boss Ollie 😄 Stay Blessed❣️
Ollie. Firstly nice job. 👍 Secondly there's something that could help people with driveways like Greg and Coda, it's a product called BAC 50 (Benzalkonium Chloride 50%). It's classed as a biocide and needs to be diluted before use. But it kills moss and lasts for years. Just a bit of information that might be useful in the future. 😄👍
it's a miracle that that poor Makita drill survived. Don't know if he used a brushless model but with the older brushed version he would definitely cooked the motor and melted the brushholders.
I have been watching your videos for a couple of years now. They're amazing but this one well I have been on a job where i have played with over 250,000 drill bits and dozens of drills hue to i setup industrial auctions. So, when the small drills came out i was started rattling lot numbers then when the masonry drill came out I sale 325-364 pf masonry bits then you said core drills 405-415 2"-4" and 602-605 are 5-8" core drills ang 65 Bosch rotary hammer and Milwaukee. Well, that's not going to help anyone here in the least bit since they're in the United States but made me laugh while having nightmares lol. Thank you
Every time you started drilling I was hollering "pull the hose back".....that would have been my luck to drill right through my darn jetting hose.. hahaha
After seeing others’ attempt to get in your space here in TH-cam, I have a better appreciation of how you create the context. The others’ content were boring! Yours is always well done, with a story line, narrative, characters, and overall a much better content.
I tell you what we used to use in the old days is a stethoscope to find water running under the ground play you'll be surprised how easy it is to find things like that with a stethoscope. And when you need a longer extension you put up ride on the end of it where the stethoscope end is and you can hear the vibrations through the ground
Attention, Ollie…TIM from Canada it looks like you might need to take inventory of your suitcase and write down stuff that you are going to need for your future jobs?. suitcases running kind of low on materials.. an inventory and write down stuff that you need or put a notepad in your suitcase. Every time you use an item write it down on your notepad every time you think of something you were going to use on a job that should have been in that suitcase write it on your notepad… just suggestions you are very busy but if you keep a notepad and a pen in there and write down stuff that you’re going to need or have already used for your future jobs
Old mechanics trick. Take that long screwdriver and stick the metal tip to the ground, or whatever, and then stick you ear to the handle. The vibrations from the ground will travel up the shank and actually be amplified by the handle. Move it to different spots until the sound is loudest and you will have pinpointed the spot where what is causing the sound is at.
Oli you really should get a water broom attachment for the jetter. It would allow you to clean up messes so much faster by spraying the ground with 4 nozzles rather than a single nozzle from your current equipment setup.
Nice work, Ollie! It would have been interesting to see what the drain camera would show, like if there's a junction just behind that slot drain or if someone just installed that slot drain without connecting in the line that runs down the driveway.
Oh a Block by this Slope? Work With Presswater! The Nozzle "run", Downhill the Block below! Very good Idea the Block Drain ( Congrete) with thick Drill open and the Water in the Trandverse Groove run to let. Good Improvise. 💪👍

Seems that there is a big pressure washer on Greg's wishlist now... I just don't get the point of the small gully halfway down the driveway when all the water is supposed to going into the big drain channel in the bottom... Great job as always! 👍👍👍

don't worry he is charging
Cheers Jeffrey!👍
Get your self a stethoscope 😅
@@adrianhewitson7077
He already had one laying on the ground but did not know it.
The DA team are flat out unblocking storm drains mate. No time for fancy cleanups. We're expecting a wet week, the drains must flow!

Just what i needed on a wet and windy Sunday in England . Thank you Ollie, and Ratty.

I slipped on that stuff also on my driveway and broke my leg. It is dangerous when it builds up like that. It was nice of you to clear him a path.
Hectic

Ollie you always go beyond what your job requires of you. May God bless you and your family
Storm water is always better to deal with than toilet water! All good Ollie 👍🏻 God bless
Not if you're chasing corn
Unless you're dealing with rocks or very dense scale. Those are as bad as grease.
@@GoodOleDFT Not for smell though
Enjoyed the pressure wash with the gurney. You did this often when I first started watching.
What a stark difference between clean and mossy on that driveway. Another job well done because you're a top notch guy Ollie. All Good!
That was very different and a pleasure to watch, well done Ollie and Ratty. What a good person you are to clear the moss away to make it safe.
You, sir are a true gentlemen and a scholar.
And oh my god was that so bad you are a angel for cleaning his walk way poor man could have fell your so sweet i bet he was super happy hugs from Arizona

Very nice of you to clean up his driveway and make it not slippery anymore Ollie! way to go ❤
It's been awhile since we were treated to a clean up using the gurney. Always a fun watch. Take care.
This was definitely different. Drill holes to relieve Blocked Drain and clean a walkway for safety nice 👍🏻 All good in the end Ollie and Ratty.
Afternoon Drain Weaver👍 and Ratty🐀 and Koda 🐕 Bit late today, series of unfortunate events stopped me tunning in first thing in the morning.
