Jesus... It's crazy to see they haven't fixed the feeling of moving slow AF still... This looks like it is meant to be super cool, but the way they have you just dragging ass all over killed it for me. They would have been better off not trying to make it look like you are meant to move fast at all.
A massive portion of mecha enthusiasts prefer that weighted style of combat, it makes more sense and makes everything feel more impactful. I'm someone who's played both extremes, OG battletech, and every Armored core game. I find the slow impactful movements and combat always feel more satisfying.
@@orthrusthetoad I like both. AC6 was a blast to play. What bugs me about this game is that they add little effects to make it seem like you are really moving fast. That is just UI noise and shouldn't be there.
Id be more interested if there was more pve content than pvp, we have such a overwhelming swath of PvP options, itd be nice to see more focus on enjoyable co-op experiences and stories
No, there will be in-game currency to purchase robots. As for weapons, I'm not sure as of yet. The only gacha was for robots mods (ATK-up engine efficiency, etc) and paint. I might be forgetting if there is more, but I will post a short video to show it after sorting through my recordings.
Ah, I love warrior style mecha brawls. Especially with big two handed weapons
glad open beta is available now to try so far i like brawler style with panther but more experimenting req with other mechs def not a sniper type
The UI is very clear and nice to look at. And the waifu driver are well made. This give me inspiration

They'd be competing with AC6 in that case though, and thats a pretty tall order
@nullproxy9639 they are competing in a very niche video game genre.
is this gonna be a gacha game? (Robots and weapons obtained from gacha)
