I bought the Azor Overdrive after your review of it, and I dig their pedals! They are inexpensive (and basic looking, to be sure), but despite their simplicity and low cost, they do precisely the thing that the name implies they will, and they do it fairly well. If I was just starting and buying a pedalboard, I would probably populate it with a bunch of Azors to save money and space.
Yeah, I think they are going to be coming out some cooler looking pedals soon, at least that is the impression I got from some emails from the guy who sends them to me.
@@RichBischoff I actually like their simplicity in their appearance, but that might hurt their sales (because they don't look fancy like some other pedals that are no better but look like they are). I have a Digitech RP500 that I like a lot (and I like the all-in-one units for a host of reasons - one instrument cable in and out, one power source required, etc.), but lately I've been thinking of having a pedal board because of all the versatility it can give, and I though a bunch of Azor pedals would be the best place for me to start that (along with the Nux Steel Singer I just got). I love your demos, but they make me buy a bunch of stuff - and I'm not even playing with anyone right now!
I made a small pedalboard with cheap pedals for gigs about 3 years ago still have it others thought I was using expensive pedals because it sounds so good, point being don't dismiss these small cheap pedals give them a try and like this azur reverb video you'll be surprised!👍☺
I don't like the Azor enclosure design. I like the aesthetic of that reverb pedal even less. But! I can't argue with sound. The proof is in the (chocolate) pudding (bar).
This little pedal actual carries a much bigger sound than it looks capable of, impressive! The guitar looks killer with the ebony fretboard, & awesome sound too! Excellent guitar for about $500ish USD!
I bought this little peddle and let me tell you this worth twice the price it gives my amp a hole different sound all I can say if u need a budget reverb peddle this is the one !
I like it. I bought it for a tube amp that I have that has no reverb and it’s doing the job quite nicely. I’m not sure if it sounds as good as the spring reverb in my old fender deluxe reverb (I used to own) but it sounds pretty damn good for $26 😂 it doesn’t have a wide variety of reverb sounds but the one it emulates is quite nice. 👍
I have a fender champ and I'm thinking about buying one of these for that reason.
I've bought an returned about 3 reverbs trying to find another affordable useable pedal and this Brown turd has been on my board 2 yrs. It sounds dang good. No bad background noise that I've got in more expensive pedals. I cant find a good cheap Hall type verb but this brown spring has carried the load.

Sounds quite good. Boggles my mind, though, that someone in the company thought it should be put into this enclosure with these knobs. And then someone after that *approved* that decision. I'm guessing they got a 'killer deal' on the case, and hoped the quality of the tone would blind consumers to everything else.... Ooof. Looks like a fudgesicle, but not in a good way.
Yeah, I got a few emails, I got the impression they will be changing the cases soon.

@@RichBischoff The only thing changed on the new versions of these is the color. Now the pedal is purple.
@@davidkastin4240 That alone is a very big improvement lol 😂. I got one and it's still brown, I keep mine on the floor and sometimes I forget and start yelling at the poor dog. Great reverb pedal though I'll never need another reverb. And for the price too wow

Man, I loved this demo and bought one. It sounds much better with your rig. I have it in the loop of my Quilter Interblock 45 and I find it virtually unusable, except at very low levels. But, for the price it was worth a try. LOL.

I've been contemplating Reverb and Delay pedals for quite some time now. The Source Audio Collider seems like the best option for delay+reverb, but this little Azor pedal keeps making me question everything. I have a Wampler Ethereal, but I need something that does all the reverbs and all the delays. The Collider seems to do everything, but a lot of U2 songs need more than just one delay.

Just got this. The low frequencies drop about 4db when turned on, even when the mix knob is down all the way. Un-freaking-usable.
The turd sounds pretty good. Just dont know if i want a turd on my board.

That long tail is a bit to long for my taste, if it had a control for that it would be great.
I like the Mosky Spring Reverb as the tail is more realistic for Spring.
Mine isn’t working do I need to get the Azor cables for it? Or is mine just broken

@@ricmel8008 You're welcome. I like the way this pedal sounds. It's gone up a little bit in price but still budget friendly. I have a reverb pedal tgat has spring reverb setting but this may sound better being it's a dedicated 1 sound pedal. It's on my wish list.

I received this Azor Reverb pedal yesterday. I powered it with one of those portable power supply/9V battery clip on adapters and the pedal worked for about 3 min before not making any Reverb effect any longer once the pedal was engaged. During that time the Mix and Dwell knobs weren’t doing anything at all either. Did I get a defective one you think?
Get a power supply. Don't use that battery adapter.

I bought the pedal based on this vid. Nice playing fella but, it has a Huge Volume Drop when on. Didn't notice it? Returned it. Looks like a turd as some noted
