Glad you liked it. I have quite a few sewing tutorials on a playlist if you are interested. They are at th-cam.com/play/PLJDvtpQDF0Pfi5eUUee_R01enTXRFuK89.html
Nicely done, many thanks! As for the possibility of rusting, no need to worry. Desiccant packets can be bought by the dozens and I use them all over the house. Just keep one near your pincushion (or anything that needs to stay dry) and change it out when it turns color.
Just FYI, steel wool will rust so don’t leave your pins and needles in it and use dark fabric. Also wipe the pins and needles when taking them out because the rust will carry to whatever you are sewing. I live in a relatively dry environment but it still rusts. Here it took about 6 months before the rust showed up
Ooh, thank you for this additional tip. I have not had any trouble with that but it probably does depend where you live and which steel wool you use. You can also make these pincushions without the wire wool. Thank you for taking the time to add this.
Thank you! Perfect for beginners like me❤

@@ChristinesCrafts I wonder if you could throw in a few grains of rice to absorb any moisture as you do in salt?
@@saramccracken5342 That sounds like a great idea!
I love this! It's so simple and doable! I love the idea of steel wool, it's *not going anywhere* like walnut chips!
Enjoy making and using yours. 😀
Brilliant idea to use Steel wool. I have it at home. Now for the size of the container...
Great video. Thank you!
Thank you very much for this video!
My pleasure. I am glad you found it helpful! 😀
Love it
this is cute but the steel wool is not as consistent and can damage your needles making some sides more worn than other parts.
They are great without the steel wool too. Simply add more soft filling! 😀
Good quality video but pour sound😮
Yes, sorry about that. I don't know why it came out so quiet.
