Thank you for this creation as we loose ourselves in these art forms and appreciate the creation coming up on a blank paper as we can do with our lives.
Thank you so much Rick, I really really enjoyed watching you create this amazing and awesome Tangle Paradox. Done on that triangular Tile, gave such an incredible pattern/patterns. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
Thanks for this! I just started watching all the videos from the beginning 😁 but I followed along with pp19 and pp20 when they came out, soooo cool!!! 😍 Awesome to watch! Thanks again 🥰😘
Wow that looks stunning...your patience is something I wish I possessed....my dad used to have patience like that when he was alive, could write or draw with either hand, identical....slow but perfection in every letter and stoke of the pen, your technique reminds me of him so much 💙💙💙💙 he ,taught me to oil paint too....
@@matthewhill8239 that’s why I paint, most mediums for therapy and to relax, I loose time I get so engrossed hours can pass by without even realising 💙💙
I just got into these, and is there a pattern good for people who have shaky hands? Bc these are so cool but the straight lines just end up stressing me out.
Is this considered a beginner tangle, perhaps for someone with minimal innate artistic talent and a minimum of experience with doodling or drawing? I absolutely love the look of this.
Found that fascinating, but reading the comments after I was sad to see may people asking questions but you never answer. Oh well, I'll look for someone else and read comments first!
Hello Rick, This was fantastic!! Thanks for the lesson :):) "Question"....I'm new to Zentangles and I see so many of the artists use a tool they call a. "Tortion"?? I'm sure I spelled it wrong, sorry for that! I can't seem to find it anywhere. Is it for shading, a pencil, or a pen? I'd really like to find one and if you could please help me, I'd be so grateful. Thank you in advance!
Maeve Garcia It is spelled as "tortillon" and it is mostly for blending. You can make one out there is many tutorials, but they don't cost much either. Hope this helped.
It always amazes me how people can create lucrative businesses out of the most mundane things in the world. Who would have thought people would actually pay real money to learn how to "doodle" and to buy overpriced materials, otherwise found at any art & craft store - including discount stores like Walmart or the Dollar Store... Good for you!

The material isn't overpriced really, it's top-notch and great to work with! You can actually see and feel the difference when using 'regular' paper or cheaper pens, but that's ok. The main thing is to have fun and relax.
@ i take a normal piece of paper, a pencil, and a ruler to draw out cool shapes and stuff depending on whats happening. my teacher is loud so i drew a circle with an aura around it and rectangles to represent tables i drew a square in the corner and drew a neat design into it. to represent me having to deal with a brat that sits infront of me.
Thanks for sharing! I really like the look of white designs on black. 😊✏️
I watch most of your videos multiple times, Finally I get it. THANKYOU.
Absolutely love this triangular paradox. I am now attempting a paradox of eight triangles arranged in a circle. Thanks so much.

I'm overwhelmed by the design and how it interacts with itself and the paper. Don't know why, but it made me teary-eyed!
Bellisimo trabajo. Uno de mis favoritos. Muchas gracias. Muy relajante...👌👍😊

That's one of the reasons for developing this hobby--to practice being mindful, which actually develops your patience as well as relaxes you!

I can’t wait to try this one Rick. Would I get a similar effect using the soapstone instead of the white charcoal?
