I can't take how Matt increased his breathing rate when Rhaenyra was telling Daemon to take her to Dragonstone and make her his wife - a small detail but boy what a joy to watch his chest heaving with excitement as he's preparing to dive in for that almost-kiss. 😍
He's really good at adding great technical aspects of acting in every movement and dialogue of the character. He also did this in the confrontation with Viserys in Ep 4. He was out of breath asking Rhaenyra's hand in marriage, but when he explained Viserys' words are truth and law, it is very commanding and strong. The acting skills are just phenomenal

i think he didn't really plan to flirt with laena, it just so happen that laena is the lady dancing near joffrey and laenor. daemon only stood up when he saw laenor went to joffrey and i think he just wanna confirm his suspicions so he tried to get close enough to hear them by dancing with laena. while laena was talking to him, daemon looked at joffrey after he said that criston looks fully c*nt-struck. and when joffrey said criston probably took rhaenyra's maidenhead, daemon suddenly stopped dancing and turned to leave. idk it's just my observation tho.
