Aww, so pleased I've found this. This was me at the end with the big surprise. What they didn't show was my Aunty was flown over too and she was out the back for another surprise. They didn't bring her out , I think they ran out of time.

My stepdad was on an episode of Surprise Surprise when Cilla surprised one of his work colleagues at Lyons Bakery in Barnsley. Not sure of the year or series but definitely the 80s. We had a copy on video but we can’t find it. He died recently and I’d love to see it again.

please do you have the episode where a good samaritan lifted a car off a man who was doing repairs under it and the jack fell over and the car was crushing him. Cilla tracked the man who lifted the car down.
