I agree, throw him to the wolves, he thinks he's the new McGregor, he's nowhere near the same level at the same age, he needs a reality check. The UFC will feed him beatable fighters to pad his record and hope he learns because he'll bring in PPV money but he's obviously nowhere near the top 5 in any way besides maybe having a good chin.

Darren is sort of like Conor in many crucial ways: he is a very technical, very dangerous striker; but if a crafty opponent --- even one that is not as technical brilliant, like Dricus is not --- could get around that dangerous aspect of Darren, he is usually in trouble. And that usually comes down to being taken to the mat. Both Conor and Darren are usually very top notch when it comes to take down defense, too; but again if they are taken down, then they are very vulnerable. They don't seem to know what to do on the mat, even though they grind against the best of wrestlers and BJJ on a daily basis. Their brilliance seems to gravitate toward striking and nothing else, it seems....

Like it or not Darren has been in this game for quite some time. The fact that he doesn't currently have a head coach is completely on him. The man clearly has the backing of the ufc, so you can't say he doesn't have the resources.

I respect till, I think he still has potential, but he needs to mix up his weapons, it’s no secret, everyone that watches him fight knows this but he won’t admit it and neither will people close to him. How tf can you say he’s better by a mile than Dricus? He got beat down badly in round 1, dricus took off round 2, did nothing and Darren still couldn’t finish him because the left hand can be seen coming from a mile away, Darren has huge legs I don’t know why he doesn’t try a muay Thai heavy approach.

Darren needs to master grappling. He already knows how to strike/muay thai, but cant seem to win positions when they hit the canvas. Also darren needs to lift more weights if he wants to stay at 185. He was noticeably weaker then dricus.

Darren needs to work with Anthony Robins.

Big John McCarthy's son was a judge that gave paddy round 1&2 and Big John said that his son was wrong and grilled him for it. Its just too bad that because he's a hype train he'll never get a real opponent for a while, he will be fed a bunch of low level guys to pad his record. Give him any top 15 opponent and watch as he gets ko'd. Even i can see every time he throws a left hand his right hand drops and thats why Jared smashed his right cheek. Anyway its just a matter of time until he gets ko'd and if you think it won't happen you're just delusional and truly don't know MMA

I think too many people think you have to play the villain to sell fights and when the fight doesn't go their way they don't respond well to the criticism, lash out and that is never a good look.
"Wasn't the result I wanted, he's a tough fighter" is all that is needed.

It's not all there for Till, he has no takedown defence, still acts like the bigger guy trying to muscle his way out of things. Maybe he needs to back down to WW, or put on some muscle and drill takedown defence. I mean what has he been doing with Chimaev all this time??
