This film, Kavic (1980), borrows the storyline of the long, perilous journey of "Lassie (1943)" from Scotland to England. Lassie both walked & swam about 260 miles crossing the river Ness, to get back to her beloved boy & family. Kavic both walked & ferried the north Pacific Ocean from Seattle WA., to Alaska to get back to the boy that saved his life. Great Movie!!! Mr Evans owns the town etc. and he also wanted Kavik to make money off of him...But Kavik chose his owner(smart dog)Now he's being loved and cared for by the right person🤩🤵♂

Beautiful as this movie is, there is nothing that would indicate that this German shepherd is part wolf. Being a dog &/ hybrid would not make any difference to the story. A very enjoyable movie nonetheless. Very well done. Kind regards.
I have a Husky, Shepherd. She was my X girl friend dog . I got rid of the girlfriend and and kept Cheyenne. That is better than winning the lottery. This could be a long story but I'll make it short. I have had her for years and this is the best choice I've ever made.

Powerfully solid Male German Shepherd This movie captivated me Start - End What it'll take no matter wot is thrown at this dog it's his resilience mems of a boy determined to believe in him self his deep heart felt feelings for this dog & reciprocated in return to him Lessons were learnt to stand up for wots worthwhile 1O ✅

The evil people like Biden, majorca’s Pelosi ,Garland Fauci bill, gates all these people need to be brought up on charges for trying to destroy the American people in America

Wonderful film, reminds me of the first Benji movies during the same time period, that made me shed tears as a kid.
Haven't seen the movie yet im about to check it out but i love these type movies anything with dogs or wilderness survival type stuff.

Great dog movie. I felt so sorry for him. He almost died several times. But happy ending.
