Thanks for this beautiful video of this amazing bird. I am also watching these interesting birds and was able to film them. Thanks for sharing this video! Heini
Thanks. Most Norwegian birds are resident year round, though some winter in southern Sweden. Dippers are extremely hardy and cold-resistant, thanks in part to their oily feathers, compact body, and small eyes. In winter they do well in spots with open running water (often near bridges).
What a great movie! I like this bird very much and we've seen him once but no time to take a picture from this bird. In the Netherlands you see this bird not much... i hope really that i see him once again in my life to take pictures from him!! Greetings, Jan van den Hardenberg. One of my fave birds. And if you catch it when the river is a bit quieter, it’s song is absolutely beautiful
Wonderful
Lovely, patient photography! Thank you. Seems this bird just loves to play in and out of the water all day!
Such a charming, funny little bird with its' bobbing. Have seen a few myself in the hills of Wales; always a sign the rivers are clean

I love these birds, and the world of rushing water they inhabit. Nice film!
Dippers are always special to watch, at one with their special niche, seemingly oblivious to all else.
What a cute bird. Must be fun to watch them in action.
Good filming Clive....
Amazing how adaptable little birds are. Unlike housecats! Of which mine are scared of water! Great video!
Brilliant - wonder how they manage in winter?
Thanks for the comment.
Nice!
