- The People's Army of Vietnam (PAVN; Vietnamese: Quân Đội Nhân Dân Việt Nam), also known as the Vietnamese People's Army (VPA), is the military force of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The PAVN is a part of the Vietnam People's Armed Forces and includes: Ground Force (including Strategic Rear Forces), Navy, Air Force, Border Defence Force, and Coast Guard.

my father and my mother are solders of north Vietnam in 1970s. I am proud of them so much. I have one son. I promise myself, if in future war happens in Vietnam, my son will be solder like his grandpa to protect our country. If he dies for protecting my country, i will cry but i am proud of him a lot.
