I remember listening to Subarmani qawal... when I was growing up. He was a real gentleman in person. He also had sound knowledge of Urdu language as far as I remember. I really think that no will ever be even close to him.
I hope Western Star was still alive that we would have enjoyed another owesome qawali.Alla banaye rakhae Satar ke him and mani must be singing in peace,bhagwaan aur alla dono ko banay rakahe,from Satya Sharma s/o Late Pandit Atma Ram Sharma,Nadi FIji.I love u all qawals in fiji and the ones in overseas.

In 1978 i was still in fiji there was a wedding my father was pandit he did the wedding,it was Mani and Satar they started singing at 9pm the challenge went unit next day 10 am thats call qawali challenge.all the blessings to Mani he must be still singing in peace,Saka keep up your good talent keep ypung guys going bro,
Mani qawaal is one of the best , if not the best, that our beloved nation Fiji has produced. The charisma , the lyrics and the style of his qawaalis are no match to any qawaal of Fiji.
They both have beed but unfortunately they both doesnt exist any more.Have anyone of you heard western wrecker singing bhajan. We met him in nandi once he was abullet.Iy was avery good combination betweeh rajen{ western wrecker} and his son shalen
