hi, how's going, i've just found your channel and i like how you try to simulate the real tactics in the door kickers 2, could you please make the same about using the swat tactics in the door kickers 1?

@@Rake5k ok, i understood your position, maybe cause the dk2 is better developed than dk1, then could you similate an op of the swat harrelson TV... Using the local SWAT with shields and no molotov?

I recommend doing a wingman concept at 22:00. Orange was exposed to the deep hallway down, the blue cant cover orange from the threat in the deadspace. The problem known as single exposure, please let me know if Im wrong. :D

You're 100% right mate, blue was in a bad position to cover orange and wingman cornering would have been better than blue staying back at the previous cover!

I just discovered this channel and it's easily the best tactical elaboration of door kickers I've seen so far, i appreciate the diligence and specific language
I gotta point out the sliver of an angle from 3:31-3:35 (the video timestamp is 23:52) on orange from the end of the hallway due to orange being forced to divide his attention for the 4 seconds, we later discovered that there was an enemy there who could have been peeking with a thin shot on his back (instead he was tucked away)
Spatially you could make the offending angle smaller by having teal on his right shoulder when the flip happens and then pushing teal to the next corner when orange declares his sector clear (peeks from that corner should see teal's barrel instead of orange's back). Temporally, you could further protect orange by preceding orange's grenade with some throwable violence toward that corner to buy time for orange to deal with his northwest
Not sure what else, it's almost like clearing T shaped hallways except with a really unfortunate offset and no escape, sometimes geometry forces you to compromise i suppose, not every puzzle is easy
Keep kicking ass! This is the best series on youtube in this niche imo

Thank you for the kind words.
What you describe is very well observed. Thank you for pointing out the risk so precisely and for offering solutions. It seems glaringly obvious now that I've read your comment. I'm always happy to learn and improve.

I'm nerdy about the ways that edge cases can develop tactics. Everything is 100% super clean up until some super strange geometry where you can't progress conventionally unless you expose yourself to unknown angles, sometimes you can't "CQB your way forward" anymore. Which is when we throw science at other approaches
Also everyone's died to that one guy in that tiny sliver of an angle ;)
There were many times in the first game where I would have no choice but to have two or three operators strafing back-to-back to pie off more angles than a single person could, in DK2 I always have anti-wall/door/window equipment so that I can flank yucky geometry

Just started playing and I really like the appeal of one plan runs, do you always do yours reactively instead?

@@thebulletkin8393 pretty much, yes. I've done a few single plans and it's been fun, feels like a puzzle. However I enjoy discovering problems on the go and adapting to the situation as it develops much more. Love that the game allows both.
