I also smoked since 2003 when I was in just 3rd standard. Then since 2016, I have been smoking 20 sticks(2pkts) a day on regular basis. I tried to quit several times by substituting it with nicotine gum, vaping and reducing the quantity but to no avail. Suddenly in 2023 February, I tried to assess the THINGS I WILL MISS if I succumb to those little pleasures and like magic, I-who have never stopped a day without smoking for 21 straight years is now celebrating 6th month of healthy breath, nicotine free lifestyle. I am so proud to say that I never felt the need to use vape or other nicotine products to get rid of cigarettes. Nth is magically possible until you drive and take full control of your mind. I am specifically writing this just so that it helps Sangay Lhaden because I stopped smoking although I was very healthy, very sporty and no sickness record at all. But Sangay has just come out of an unbelievable battle, full of medication and health-conditions and that makes it a ‘MUST quit at all cost’ thing for her. Just like she said,”It’s all in the mind”, she can do it. Next episode, I’m hoping to see her having battled the nicotine stuffs and come out clean, ready for the next battle. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
