I have a relative who retired from CASE he passed recently. I now have his full 675 piece CASE Knife collection. I would not sell them for any less than 1.5 million dollars. This collection is the largest privately owned collection in America😊

Love all the provenance of your collection. To me, that is what any collection is about... the stories tied to them. I have a collection of pearl handled toothpicks from my uncle. He had them and found their way to me after he passed in 1970. Don't believe they are anything special as in brand or material. Just that they were his and all are smaller than a 1" blade. As I find one, I pick it up to add to that collection. I also have my great grandfather's butcher knives, his bone saw, and 2 large meat clevers. Unfortunately, they were damaged during a house fire we had, but I have them all together along with a plank of walnut from a tree we lost one year. When I go to restore these knives, I'm making the handles out of that walnut. I have 3 grandchildren that will each get a portion of great grandpa's knives and any more I add to the sets. Great Grandpa's will have his name engraved in the handle or blade so we know which were his originally.

Good stuff. As a knife collector and user many knives I acquire are safe queens. But the knives that mean the most are the ones that were gifted to me from family or friends. My most cherished is a Sabre camp knife given to me from my great uncle in 1979. I used that knife for what seemed an eternity, probably ten to twelve years. Today that knife is way past worn out but is displayed proudly on my desk. When most see it for the first time, they can't help but ask why I have such a fouled up useless knife on display for the world to see. Then I get to tell them about Uncle Otto.

I believe that's a "small stockman" but I can't tell for sure. Thanks for watching!
