Episcopal Silver Jubilee of Bp John Thomas

Bp John Thomas Kattrukudiyil, the silver jubularian is the first Bishop of newly created diocese of Itanagar since 2005. He was elevated to episcopacy on 8 September 1994 for the diocese of Diphu.
He is an astute administrator, erudite scripture scholar, caring Pastor and above all loving spiritual father.
Born in Kerala, on 18 January 1948, in Kothamangalam diocese, in a family of 9 children: 6 boys and 3 girls. Ordained Priest on 3 Feb 1975 in Assam, Tezpur diocese.
The septuagenarian Bishop is people friendly and people fondly call him "Bishopswami. The diocese of Itanagar now has 41 Parishes spread across more than half of Arunachal Pradesh with 23 Diocesan and 100 Religious Priests and nearly 200 nuns.
As the diocese of Itanagar Praise and Thank God for HIS Lordship Dr John Thomas, implore God's showers of blessings upon him.
