I camped overnight Christmas Eve in my Tahoe. 12* temperature + a wind chill. We got 6” or so snowfall... the only heat I had was starting the truck about every hour or so for a few minutes. Honestly wasn’t too awfully bad. I’m learning a lot from Your videos. Thank You 😊✌️
The closer I can get to living in a van down by the river I really appreciate these videos

I have a 2015 silverado 2500 w/ a camper shell like yours. I did a 2 week hunt in Montana 2 yr ago, ave temp was 4-12°F. Sleep in the back. My shell has the same 2 spots that were open off tailgate and lid. I used a 6"wide cut up bath towel to seal those up, stretch across the hole tailgate. Just closed it into the lid and on tailgate. Also put small 3m foam insulation along the sill of the lid so it would squish when closed. Plus over your head area I put a small battery powered light switch flashlight velcro to the roof for easy access when waking up or use while in there. Also everyone laughs but I used 2 orthopedic dog beds for my sleeping pad. They were from academy and amazing.... the dogs loved then when I came home. And if your just going out for a few days, what I did for food was BBQ extra ribs steak burgers.... and vac sealed them then froze them. Since its freezing outside they won't thaw to fast if in a small cooler. Then you just need to boil water to reheat and they were amazing even 10 months later. Boil water for food, heat and hot chocolate all at the same time. Nice videos. Stay in the woods!🇺🇲

We have 3 days of ice. Lots of broken limbs in SW Oklahoma. This weekend though going camping and kayaking in Southcentral Oklahoma. "If you dont like the weather in Oklahoma just wait a couple days"...lol. It will be a great weekend to camp in my truck camper. Enjoy your videos so much.

Lol! It's Yakisoba. You're supposed to put the water in, let the noodles soften, and the pour out the remaining water, and then mix the little vegetable / chicken packet in. But hey, we all make mistakes. 😄

I have had similar adult lunchables and they are good. That would be awesome to truck camp in the snow. I just went truck camping for the first time and had a blast. I'm definitely gonna take a heater next time. I enjoyed this adventure and see ya on the next one. Have a wonderful evening my friend.

It's going to be back in the 60s next week, I am hoping for some good snow storms this year though
An another thing for your rear window they make a rear window protector for snow, ice, an frost
you would talk more and quicklier on previous videos, compared to newer ones but either way is awesome. 😊😊

Well, I've had my own ways. A 5 gallon bucket 1/3 water, a little bit of bio degradable rv toilet treatment, and a tight seal. Was just wondering what others do, for their do do. Lol
