Great to have a day transit pass Gold leaf on the shrine is pretty and unique. Cheers to the journey That fish at the second shrine was biggest I've seen in this pond type environment. Cool sushi place Probably happy and sad to see the Japan trip end all the best 👍
hmmm ... I would visit Shimogamo Shrine. Historically and culturally it is more important I think than any other shrine in Kyoto. If you speak Japanese, the Kanji Museum and Miniamiza in Gion are really fun. The train museum is extremely interesting (but the little kids always hog the hands-on displays). To escape all the tourists, I would hike up to Doshisha Cemetery ... it's very peaceful.
@@itsaboutthetravel I actually do not like Kyoto very much but my Osaka relative always drags me back there. The people are extremely refined and look down on the rest of Japan. They even discriminate against each other ... but ... the Philosopher's Path is extremely beautiful
What a great experience. A very famous place.
It was fun! Thanks for watching!

I’ve always wanted to know what to do in Kyoto!
Now you know!

@towada1066 Thank you. We're returning to Japan next year and if we go to Kyoto I will keep this in mind.

@towada1066 Thank you for watching. We enjoyed seeing things, but I understand why it would not be fun if you were not treated well.
