- Today we are playing 2 Random Horror Games - Mimic Search and Eyeless Jack. Both incredible indie horror games!
Mimic Search:
Mimic Search is a short indie horror game, in which you take the role of a police officer investigating a recent mimic attack. It's your job to locate and neutralize the mimic in order to keep the area safe.
Eyeless Jack:
Your house was foreclosed, so you moved in with your brother, whom you hadn't seen for 10 years. Everything seems fine at first, but soon enough, you'll find yourself in a traumatic experience.

2 was better and here is why.
1 had good atmosphere and decent graphics but fell apart at the end.
2 had a better story and left more for the imagination to run with it but it had terrible acting.

I really like the episodic format of fears to fathom, they're short and sweet and always really immersive. Makes me feel like I'm playing through a Mr Nightmare story with how it's paced

I think I saw two glowing eyes in the woods at 27:04.. I think both games had quite thin stories, but I liked the graphics in the Mimic Search game.

Also its the ONLY thing I do for fun. Cant do sports for a while and even so I dont have friends like I used to, no girls too, so it sucks ..
nothing to do besides going out to drink, and tedious also led to go drink.
I dont like to spend all my life watching screens(tv, internet etc) and never going out, and going out alone is only fun when you drink otherwise you go back to home quickly and sit again in boredom and more and more screen..
I mean internet is a good entertainment but It doesn't satisfy my fun needs.. Im an outdoor guy.

One of the videos of yours I watched that really got me hooked was the Carson House, that was insanely freaky! I started Summer of 58 earlier, but had to dash to band practice, so I’ll finish that one after this!
Mimic Search should have had you encounter the same characters elsewhere on the map and you have to figure out which one is a mimic and shoot it before a certain point when it would attack you.
I read Eyeless Jack way back in middle or high school. I am so glad that there is finally a game about him!

So one of things that irks me about hollow is his reading, he changes words or doesn’t read exactly what is written so it changes the narrative at times. At 17:35 he reads “or if he was onto something” when it reality it said, “or if he was on something.” Totally changes the meaning of the sentence. It’s not just in this video, it’s in alot of his videos. Normally it doesn’t matter to me if he reads “was not” as “wasn’t” for example. I wouldn’t care. But he misreads often enough that it changes the meaning of the sentence.
Yeah he tends to read a little too fast for his brain to process. If he slowed down, even a small fraction, it would likely eliminate the issue altogether.
Genuinely the most underrated channel on TH-cam and I'm being completely honest, the production on your vids are top notch and I love the types of games you play!
That sleep and walking = sleepwalking, wordplay/realisation at 42:03 was amazing Hollow!

The guy joking in the cop's face reminded me of a guy in my country, he was a young truck driver in a bad mood and had to park on the sidewalk after some police cars told him to. The cops asked if the guy had any drugs on the truck and he said yes just to mess with them, after 30 minutes or so that the cops were unloading a bunch of heavy electronics they realized that the driver lied just to get a rise out of them. They beat him a little and tossed him in the jail, he was released the next day with sore ribs from the beating but at least would only go to court instead of being imprisoned.
I believe this is based on/inspired by "Vita Carnis", an analog horror series

Quick note hollow - I've noticed in previous games including this one, you can't seem to work out where the noise is coming from but the direction of noise is evident for me!
