Good list. I'll be coming out with my top 10 list I'll be hunting for this year soon. This is safer idea though because you don't have to worry about chase snagging your books.

I recently bought an old key for a great price. I got a 9.0 Eternals #1 for only $60. I tried bidding on a 9.6, but it went well beyond what i was willing to spend on it. I paid less than half what it sold at to get my 9.0.

Great picks. I did just get Chew#1 first print NM and for 2024 I am going to try and get Wolverine Origins#10, Primer#2,TMNT#1, Hulk#181, X-Men#1 1963, Amazing Fantasy#15 and Batman#1 1940 then my collection is complete but if I can get keys cheap then I am a buyer.

Of those on the list I'm only missing hulk 1, showcase 22, af 15, detective comics 31 and batman 1. There are very few books left on my list that I want to collect. During 2023 I was able to add a lot of books to my pc when the market corrected. Happy new year and happy hunting!

Happy New Year! Canadian viewers, by the way, must add over 30% to these prices. Not a good time for Canadians to be buying from the US. Keep an eye on the exchange rate; if there's a five cent drop, that could make a nice difference on a key.

Great video. I think buying silver Marvel grails are a good bet as many are back to preCOVID spike levels. I’ve also been buying precode horror grails bc of their scarcity. Those books are interesting bc they did not spike up during COVID but they did not go down during the bust either . I wanted to diversify my collection. Silver grails likely have more upside but I love the history of the precode horror .

But you want to be careful that you're not just buying into a current fashion. Multiple TH-cam influencer-dealers are heavily promoting pre-code horror. Be careful that you're not left holding the bag when the fashion ends.

Sorry to fact check you again bro - Bob Kane didn’t draw that tec 31 cover and calling him “great” as in the great Stan Lee or Jack Kirby is laughable and a straight up a lie. The guy was scummy who hurt lives and stole from people. This is common knowledge.
