I wear it every now and then, in particular situations. It's a very interesting fragrance. It starts off with the most pungent vomit scent you can imagine. Just pure rotten acid. And then you let it sit for 30 mins. And then somehow the acid starts developing into this beautiful champagne and roses scent. The best part is that it always feels "off." I recommend it.
Anarchist A actually doesnt smell that bad when on skin! The scent sweetens a little and mellows out (on me at least). It makes me feel a kind of sad and nostalgia for something ive never experienced …it makes you think of a time where you slept with someone you werent supposed to. Smells regretful, sad, and passionate…like a young man but always older than yourself. Sharp like sweat but not funky
I haven’t tried the weird perfumes you’ve mentioned, but tried a bunch from Black Phoenix Alchemy Labs. They sometimes don’t even list the notes,’instead they use stories, poems, and scenes. For Halloween last year, I got All of their heads fell off, Carved wooden alchemy lab, the Witches have a fire again, and Snooty Bat. Very interesting experiment. They’re a gothic brand found in 2000. Their perfume oils are like below $30, so it’s more accessible than regular perfumes. They’re also really fun, not taking themselves too seriously, with perfumes like Vampire Milk, Traditional Sheet Ghost, or Vintage Pumpkin Blow Mold.

I wouldn't say that Zoologist is supposed to smell like that animal, but rather their environment. For example, the penguin one smells icy and fresh like the arctic. The bat one smells like old fruit and a cave...etc...
Comme Des Garçons makes great stuff. I own concrete, rouge, Avignon, and Kyoto. They’re definitely not boring, but all are wearable. Plus they do incense like no one else.
@@miracleyacht__1538 Kyoto is more “wearable” than Avignon. Avignon is much more churchy incense with smoke such as a more lit incense and Kyoto is a touch sweeter. Both are great though and maybe sample both first. Kyoto and Avignon are definitely the best out of the incense line.
You really need to let the fragrance dry down for like 30 sec to a min before goin right in and smelling them and then come back after an hour to smell the dry down because the dry down is the most important part of the frag cause you live with the dry down more than the opening.

I love inexcusable evil, I often wear it on special occasions, to me, it smells like burnt flowers the first hours and then like an haunted hospital. Such an unique fragrance that requires the right vibes, outfit and person to wear it.
Your fragrance video from last year got me into niche fragrances. You talked about Concrete from CDG, i went try it and my life is not the same ever since. I’v tried about 200 and bought almost 50 fragrances since.
Secretions is different when it’s on your skin. It starts out and you’re not sure what’s happening. As it fades down, it becomes almost ocean-y but funky and then it’s like rusted metal and milk and pennies. I enjoyed this content. Love the Slint cover (?) at the end.
I totally did. I’m not saying I’d ever wear it, but there are some points when it smells quite good. If only it didn’t stay on you for a week after. If you haven’t, you should review the Alaska Thunderf••k fragrance. She’s a drag queen from Drag Race. I think more people need to know about it. It’s like a high end frag for an insanely good price. I wear it as my signature scent now with Gucci Rush as a secondary.

Demeter makes a lot of specific one-smell fragrances for pretty affordable prices, I own a few including Paperback, Thunderstorm, Dirt, etc you can layer multiple or add on top of more conventional fragrances to add personal characteristics!

If you want something worse, try Sombre. And for something similar in concept to Inexcusable Evil but actually wearable, try Iron Duke by Beaufort London. Great video. I think you these fragrances exist on a spectrum between wearable and olfactory art, and all of them are great in their own way.
Broken Theories is an awesome frag. Kerosene has some bangers. Blackmail and Fields of Rubus (now discontinued) are my faves. A lot of his newer stuff is very gourmand, but when he goes dark, there's just nothing else like em.
Really I would come back to the fragrance after it develops more with air and oxidation. This is crazy you smell it straight from the bottle and think it's what it's supposed to.
The smell of a fragrance is sooo different when it's applied to the skin and has time to actually rest. I've never sprayed a fragrance on paper and smelled it immediately and assumed that was just how it smelled haha -_- I did enjoy the video though.
I love Comme de Garcons. I own Vogue 125 from them and it's meant to smell like you're flipping through a Vogue magazine. You can smell the ink and the perfume from the tear away fragrances that used to be in magazines. It's so iconic and nostalgic for me. Discontinued now so if you find a bottle, get it.

I have pretty big collection of fragrances and my favourite one, Encre Noire, smells exactly like funerals. I also had CDG Zagorsk - dmells like church and CDG Odeur 53 - concrete. Also had some rare fragrance that smelled like burning aluminum.
Not to torment you further but this video was really entertaining and I think there are some less unpleasant but equally weird frags you could continue the series with. Some that come to mind are Ganymede, T-Rex (you mentioned), some of the ultra-specific Demeters (like the first responder perfume, the astronaut/space one, etc). I enjoy some edgy niche frags just to sniff them when I'm bored -- like Zoologist Bat, the current formulation -- but it's just funnier having someone else review them before I waste cash on a sample.
but not today being placed after the toskovat fragrances is crazy…. but not today is really not that obscure; once it dries down it smells gloriously carnal and alluring. will definitely be trying that red house painters one tho loool
I have a "gasoline" cologne that i initially didnt like. It was too astringent on my nose and i returned it. Kept the sample, and people kept telling me how good i smelled so i reordered it 😂
Niche fragrance enthusiast here. As mammals, we have just as powerful of an olfactory system as other mammals but sadly it has atrophied due to the proliferation of our ability to “think” to a much higher degree. Anyways, to go on an olfactory journey through fragrance can be exciting if you exercise and train your sense of smell to “read” the fragrances story. Its a great hobby and worthwhile to tune in and refine your olfactory senses to its intended highest potential as an animal. I’ll leave you with a relevant quote by writer Hunter S.Thompson that has resonated with me over the years: “Buy The Ticket, Take The Ride.”
You should’ve tried Triton by Blackbird. It was one of the very first niche fragrances I tried when I started trying niche fragrances, I had such a repulsive reaction. Ten years later, I tried it again and I fell in love with it.
I actually have the But Not Today flacon and I do not find it that extreme. Strong leather smell, not that metallic to me, some musky notes underneath. Maybe it just works well with my skin but I really like wearing it (whereas e.g. patchouli absolutely doesn't work for me, although I like it on others).
A really good fragrance that smells like wet concrete is For Him by Narciso Rodriguez its discontinued but I have a bottle that's about 3 quarters full I love it on a rainy fall day.
I grew up in rural Romania with my grandpa being a ranger. They went hunting a lot. This smell reminds me of hunting. The smell of blood and iodine.. I also used to clean the gun barrel and play with gunpowder sprinkling it on top of the stove like some kind of war fairy 😂. Keep in mind that Romanians sacrifice their animals in their yard, so the smell of blood, burnt hair because we burn the pigs after killing them..and iodine and wet concrete is very normal to us. This reminds me of grandpa ❤

My favorite type of perfume is animalic perfume (smell of animals like barnyard, fur, piss), it makes me realize how much I appreciate nature and how primal our sense of smell is. We used to live deeply connected to nature, now ppl always try to mask everything

Totally late and random but I randomly blind bought a bottle of Basilisk venom from paradox at my local farmers market. I don't know how else to put this but wet stone and like the feeling of snake is scales is what it gives me. It's such a weird polarizing scent that's so fucking odd but I'm lowkey obssesd with sniffing it XD.
Anarchist A- smelled crazy on me upon application when I tried it (Oud and plastic overload), but after a couple hours it smelled really nice. Not nice enough to put myself through that opening repeatedly, but I do plan on using up the sample vial over time just because it was interesting.

the zoologist fragrances dont try to replicate the smell of animals, they simply use animals, their habitats, behaviors and diet as inspiration and metaphorical guiding lines for their scents. for example, the dragonfly one is very effervescent and floral because of the ponds that dragonflies roam around, ponds which were usually depicted in impressionist paintings, so they also took inspiration from the colors in impressionism. at least read the fragrantica bio of what youre smelling if you say that these perfumes are supposed to have a story!

Great video. I think you these fragrances exist on a spectrum between wearable and olfactory art, and all of them are great in their own way.
tbh you should recommend them based more on whether they achieved what they were going for rather than if youd personally wear them

Broken Theories is an awesome frag. Kerosene has some bangers. Blackmail and Fields of Rubus (now discontinued) are my faves. A lot of his newer stuff is very gourmand, but when he goes dark, there's just nothing else like em.
Really I would come back to the fragrance after it develops more with air and oxidation. This is crazy you smell it straight from the bottle and think it's what it's supposed to.
The smell of a fragrance is sooo different when it's applied to the skin and has time to actually rest. I've never sprayed a fragrance on paper and smelled it immediately and assumed that was just how it smelled haha -_- I did enjoy the video though.

I love Comme de Garcons. I own Vogue 125 from them and it's meant to smell like you're flipping through a Vogue magazine. You can smell the ink and the perfume from the tear away fragrances that used to be in magazines. It's so iconic and nostalgic for me. Discontinued now so if you find a bottle, get it.

I have pretty big collection of fragrances and my favourite one, Encre Noire, smells exactly like funerals. I also had CDG Zagorsk - dmells like church and CDG Odeur 53 - concrete. Also had some rare fragrance that smelled like burning aluminum.
How is something supposed to smell like church? Does it just smell like incense wood and leather?

Not to torment you further but this video was really entertaining and I think there are some less unpleasant but equally weird frags you could continue the series with. Some that come to mind are Ganymede, T-Rex (you mentioned), some of the ultra-specific Demeters (like the first responder perfume, the astronaut/space one, etc). I enjoy some edgy niche frags just to sniff them when I'm bored -- like Zoologist Bat, the current formulation -- but it's just funnier having someone else review them before I waste cash on a sample.

Niche fragrance enthusiast here. As mammals, we have just as powerful of an olfactory system as other mammals but sadly it has atrophied due to the proliferation of our ability to “think” to a much higher degree. Anyways, to go on an olfactory journey through fragrance can be exciting if you exercise and train your sense of smell to “read” the fragrances story. Its a great hobby and worthwhile to tune in and refine your olfactory senses to its intended highest potential as an animal. I’ll leave you with a relevant quote by writer Hunter S.Thompson that has resonated with me over the years: “Buy The Ticket, Take The Ride.”
You should’ve tried Triton by Blackbird. It was one of the very first niche fragrances I tried when I started trying niche fragrances, I had such a repulsive reaction. Ten years later, I tried it again and I fell in love with it.

I actually have the But Not Today flacon and I do not find it that extreme. Strong leather smell, not that metallic to me, some musky notes underneath. Maybe it just works well with my skin but I really like wearing it (whereas e.g. patchouli absolutely doesn't work for me, although I like it on others).

A really good fragrance that smells like wet concrete is For Him by Narciso Rodriguez its discontinued but I have a bottle that's about 3 quarters full I love it on a rainy fall day.

there’s a handful of “ink” fragrances out there. Most use vetiver to achieve that “ink” like smell.
I grew up in rural Romania with my grandpa being a ranger. They went hunting a lot. This smell reminds me of hunting. The smell of blood and iodine.. I also used to clean the gun barrel and play with gunpowder sprinkling it on top of the stove like some kind of war fairy 😂.
Keep in mind that Romanians sacrifice their animals in their yard, so the smell of blood, burnt hair because we burn the pigs after killing them..and iodine and wet concrete is very normal to us. This reminds me of grandpa ❤

I’m very deep into niche fragrances, this is the type of stuff I wear regularly. The art of underground perfumery is so beautiful, so interesting. My favorite type of perfume is animalic perfume (smell of animals like barnyard, fur, piss), it makes me realize how much I appreciate nature and how primal our sense of smell is. We used to live deeply connected to nature, now ppl always try to mask everything

I absolutely love odd smells. I have a perfume I adore that smells like incense in a swamp, it has a damp, earthy, musky, spicy, kick to it and I genuinely love it.

Totally late and random but I randomly blind bought a bottle of Basilisk venom from paradox at my local farmers market. I don't know how else to put this but wet stone and like the feeling of snake is scales is what it gives me. It's such a weird polarizing scent that's so fucking odd but I'm lowkey obssesd with sniffing it XD.

Anarchist A- smelled crazy on me upon application when I tried it (Oud and plastic overload), but after a couple hours it smelled really nice. Not nice enough to put myself through that opening repeatedly, but I do plan on using up the sample vial over time just because it was interesting.

the zoologist fragrances dont try to replicate the smell of animals, they simply use animals, their habitats, behaviors and diet as inspiration and metaphorical guiding lines for their scents. for example, the dragonfly one is very effervescent and floral because of the ponds that dragonflies roam around, ponds which were usually depicted in impressionist paintings, so they also took inspiration from the colors in impressionism. at least read the fragrantica bio of what youre smelling if you say that these perfumes are supposed to have a story!
