      I agree. We almost had that with Volcarona but its BST is just a bit short and it's not part of a 3 stage evo line.

    • @Breakaway-ic5gj
      @Breakaway-ic5gj 3 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Minotaur Pokémon ? Steel/Fighting type, high physical stats, low special, ok speed. Some sort of signature move that's steel type and the Mon uses a weapon in it.
      Or a Cyberdemon inspired Mon, Minotaur body but has a gun. So high special stat, cut down on the speed and maybe make it full tank but limited movepool.

    • @Breakaway-ic5gj
      @Breakaway-ic5gj 3 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Aggron should be Pseudo Legendary, he seems so much more like a rival for Ttar than the other Steel Dragon

      * Dragonite
      * Tyranitar
      * Salamence+Metagross
      * Garchomp
      * Hydreigon
      * Goodra
      * Kommo-o
      * Dragapult
      Not a ton of variety in types.. I would say Fairy is a decent choice but a Fairy with a BST that high would be pretty rough to deal with (assuming a decent move pool, even with not-so-great typing)

    • @mr.sandman7339
      @mr.sandman7339 3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Fr, aside from the typing, everything is good (although the movepool could use some new tools at this point). And even then, the rock/dark is only bad on paper since it helps ttar take on specific threats that other things can't. I remember it being one of the few reliable COUNTERS to SD Talonflame in gen 6 and Blacephalon and Naganadel in gen 7.

    • @AbyssArray
      @AbyssArray 3 ปีที่แล้ว +17

      It's more like 159 Base Sp.Def without investments, about 174 Base Sp.Def if you use max-max investments - since you multiply the actual stat rather than the base stat

    Most of the time you cover just about any item, spread move so on and so forth i can usually think of. However this time around suprised you didn't mention curse Ttar considering the pokemon it's fighting unlike in sword and shield wouldn't stand much of a chance against it depending on what they have and the coverage. A defensive spread either into HP and Defense or HP Special Defense with the last point in the other works really well with either leftovers and or smooth rock.
    Also another two moves nobody seems to talk about that work especially well on curse Ttar cause of the slowing are avalanche and assurance. Avalanche is better for coverage but assurance is hilarious with a couple curses up honestly the only move it doesn't get that i wish it did was knock off. Suprised it doesn't have it considering its typing theme and obvious synergy.

    • @InSpades0

    Modest Nature
    IVs: 0 Atk
    - Ice Beam / Blizzard
    - Flamethrower / Fire Blast

    I have a question as someone not too well versed I competitive. Why run a chice scarf while running pursuit if your trying to get them to switch out anyway?

    • @isandrooo
      @isandrooo 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      In general, that’s not the only move you’re using. However pursuit isn’t in the game rn

    • @1SI69
      @1SI69 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Pursuit is not in ttar movepool anymore, but lest imagine in the gen5 days of competitive:
      You are facing a Latios for example, right in front of you, and you want to trap it, you would need that scarf for sure, since the opponent knows, that in the very moment you get ttar to the battlefield, its a fact that you are going to click pursuit, so for him switching out Latios is a sure death and he gets nothing out of it, so in that situation, what he should do is trying to knock out ttar with anything at Latios disposal, like surf or maybe draco meteor if he didnt already used it, if ttar is somewhat worn down, or he gets a lucky crit, he may achieve it
      But if you run schoice scarf in that situation, with full speed investment and perfect IV (even Jolly), then you know that you are going to hit first and get that Latios even if you are really low HP, so just by having choice scarf and getting somehow ttar in, that Latios is completely doomed and out of options

    Tyranitar...aka the pkmn incarnation of gojira(godzilla)
    In vgc....it's ability to rewright comes into effect and so the popular sand offense core with drill
    Lash out after proced with wp makes it useful in tr too
    And snarl/breaking swipe/assurance(cuz of low speed) and at times some special moves(like ice beam/dark pulse) makes it pretty reliable in terms of a sweeper/tank and a passive support mon
    Tho ddance rock slide remains pretty consistent (with chople berry)
    In 6v6ss..we're aware of the ddance set....with crunch/stone edge/elemental punches and eq
    At times some sp.moves like ice beam/fire blast for intimidators and tanks like lando and ferro respectively
    And every usum ttar Stan's fav banded pursuit for sure
    Ofc u've got support moves like rocks and twave in his constitution as well
    In bss....it's more inclined towards offense but still loves running a double AV set(didn't mention the same for vgc...my bad) and at times twave+rocks
