I had an insane tadpole problem in 2020. I had such a small amount of everything including nano fish. Everyone online told me they did not hurt ponds. I called bs and figured it was water quality problems for sure. Ty for verifying for me
Very cool! Guessing you live in Florida or somewhere that’s always warm. I could never do this here in NY 😂 been considering insulating some totes with spray foam and tossing them in the basement. Have a few more tests to do, but need temp outside to drop below zero for a few days.
I was going to ask why there was such a large gap between this video and the last but you addressed that. What changed that made you able to stay more consistant at creating content in recent years?
How do you find the time cull all those tanks to keep the colors pure? Also, do you do water changes on the tanks you have in your greenhouse? I've always wanted an outdoor pond with shrimp in it, but idk if they will die to predators or the weather. Sorry for the incoherent rambling, cool video.
We do this full time. We just feed and cull like our normal tanks. Yes we do water changes every 9 to 14 days. That's why the tubs are covered with the sceeen
150 tanks in the house?? Those are weak numbers. There is this girl in Florida, her name is Shelby she gets some help from her husband she has hundreds and hundreds of tanks in her house. It may be safe to actually say she lives in her aquariums.
the ponds are not that big with a net I can easily catch most of the shrimp in the tank and cull out of the net. We sell quite a bit of shrimp and are always working on culls at the same time as well as when we do water changes.
OMG! :O thats a lot of shrimp tanks!
Got a lot more on the other side of the house will start working on those soon hopefully
It was great to see you last weekend at the meeting!

Ya were in central Florida
What are you using for substrate? Think of setting one of these up in Az, we have perfect weather for it.
Any black inert Substrate will work

Wow amazing mate! What do you feed your shrimp and frequency of feeding for this setup?
A fix of different commercial shrimp foods and bug pro. We feed a nice amount everyday.

Lol
Do you have an update on this ?
will do one this month
Any new updates ?
Trying to get around to posting more videos just not enough time. Hopefully will do an update before the winter is over.
What are your temps like? Specifically lows
Low 40s to high 90s depends on outdoor temps
well kinda nice for massive reproduction and selling, but its just quantity, no quality. i dont see any way you can cull em in those ponds.

What area do you live at?
What I meant like I live in Dallas Texas it gets 100 plus temp
In central Florida very similar to Texas just more humidity
Thanks, liked, subscribed
Hell yeah !
