the little lick at the start was Lydian (major scale with a sharp 4) the jazzyness came from the chords rather than the scale in the instance of his piano riff, where he moves from the 2nd to the 3rd chord the semitone shift and the fact the 3rd chord is extended (probably something along the lines of a sharp9 or flat9). When he's writing the synth part around 2:30 he is using a Cmin Arpeggio and the Cmin blues scale.
Mans sick on the keys, i was fully impressed when he started playing them rhodes riffs

This is easily the best video in this series, 10/10... Swindle is obviously a talented, classically trained musician who can convey his ideas quickly and naturally. Smacked it!
The other producers struggled a lot since they're not classically trained. For a purely electronic artist,10mins is an incredibly stiff timeframe to bang out a decent beat that shows any individual flare or personality; as a result the other beats are pretty lifeless.
I definitely couldn't match this in 10mins! lol
