    Is there any keyboard shortcut for styles? My TB says it's F11 for OpenOffice but that's not what I use.

    There're 5 types of styles: para, char, pg, frame/graphics and list. The 1st 3 are mostly used.

    But how do you then apply that set of styles as a Theme, so that you an apply the look and colors to any Word document? I see your response to a similar question below in the comments, but I don't want a Default set for all documents, I just want to be able to click a Theme/Style Set (whatever you want to call it), anytime I'm working on an article with the same style, so that they match, without having to do it manually each time.

    How do reorder the styles in the styles group and gallery?

    • @GCFLearnFree
      @GCFLearnFree  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Click the down arrow on the right side of the Styles Gallery.
      Select 'Apply Styles', then click the 'Styles' button (It looks like two A's).
      Then click the Manage Styles button (It looks like two A's with a pencil).
      From the Manage Styles window, click the Recommended tab.
      From here, you can select a style and reorder it within the Style Gallery by using the Move Up and Move Down buttons near the bottom of the window.
      Hope this helps!

      @@GCFLearnFree Thank you, this did help - I now see where I can change the order. I have to figure out why styles I created were not showing up in that list, but I can figure that out. You go me 90% of the way to solved, thanks.

    Most interesting video.
    Still, I'm having a problem with this, I made the default style as I wanted, but every time I press enter into a new line word creates a new style where my font goes to 10, every time I go to the next line I have to change my font back to 12...
    how do I delete this obnoxious behaviour?

      Sounds like a glitch. Have you tried closing the program entirely and then reopening it? You can also learn how to change Word's default settings in this lesson: edu.gcfglobal.org/en/word-tips/changing-your-default-settings-in-word/1/. Hope it helps!

      We'd make sure you have the full version of Word first. If that's the case, try closing the program entirely and then restarting it. Hope it helps!
