Bruh the watchmaker deserved a huge tip, something like that in the states would literally cost hundreds of dollars. I was surprised you didn’t tip him considering how generous you usually are.
I wonder if he’s thought about moving to the US, with his skills he could probably bring in 6 figures. He probably just enjoys being a part of his community though.
I didn't tip him cause he seemed like he would get upset. Not everyone likes getting tipped. I had tipped someone earlier in the day who got mad, so I was already on edge about it. Lots of stuff happens outside of the videos that viewers don't see. I understand viewers have a hard time understanding that because videos are often take as 100% in context, so I try not to get upset. but it is upsetting when I see comments roasting me for stuff like this. This is 30 minutes of a 12 hour day outside, so I hope viewers remember that a lot happens outside of these videos in a single day that can affect our decisions. Best! ^.^

It's not stolen. They are not even original watches. Very cheap 2nd, or 3rd copy products, they usually come without boxes. I went to Sarojini the other day, and 3 people tried to sell me Fossil, Tissot, Longines and what not in the exact same manner. They use the handkerchief I suppose to prevent scratches.

I’m an Indian and I see many people on twitter arguing that India is the best place with all nice people. On the other hand some people argue that India is a scammer country. I don’t agree with any of them, I’ve seen Chris’s multiple videos and sometimes I see him getting right price, sometimes I see the shop owner declining to take any money because he is our guest, sometimes I’ve seen random strangers paying for him as a gesture and sometimes I’ve seen people scamming the heck out of his innocence. This all is India. The country is only it’s people, be a good Indian.

Proud to see Indian Shopkeepers so honest & courteous with a foreigner. There is hardly any intention to overcharge except the Mobile Cover seller, that should have come within Rs500. For such items Chris, just offer to pay 40% of the price quoted and go upto to 50% at the most. Also checkout rates in a few adjoining shops before finally deciding to buy from. TShirt was a good but at Rs250 though. Sardarji, the watch repairer, was the most honest & dignified of the lot. HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN TIPPED! Hope our Autorickshaw & Taxi drivers learn from this. Unfortunately many of them are cheats especially with foreigners. Do mention the area in which these shops are. The Fake Watch Seller quoting Rs6000 was a CHEAT. Never engage in conversation with such guys. YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE BOUGHT FROM THAT GUY!😢
