Just an observation about the meaning of "conveniente": in that phrase it wasn't a "full false friend", in fact the meaning of conveniente is vaste and stands for "more suitable for the occasion, after all more efficient" (it's cheaper, faster, more comfortable and so on). So the phrase could really be translated into "going by train is more convenient". Something can be "più conveniente" while still being "meno economico".

Joe però per noi dire è più conveniente, non è scontato significhi più conveniente “economicamente” può essere intenso anche come più comodo, meno stancante rispetto che so, all’ auto, più conveniente rispetto aereo perché ti porta dritto in centro città. Può voler dire varie cose. Più confortevole. O anche più conveniente economicamente, nel caso di stia parlando di spesa di viaggio:)

Just an observation: if you say in Italian "Vado a Londra PER trovare un amico" it means that, maybe, I don't know where he is, in London, and I have to FIND him or that I go there to find someone to be friends with. If I go there to visit/see a friend, then, I go there "A trovare un amico" or "per far visita a un amico". LOL
