When she tried singing young, she said she was not very good, but she prayed to GOD to help make her a good singer, and she promised HIM to only sing songs that related to being a Christian. So now we have one of the best, and in my opinion, THE best female vocalist on earth. Yes she has acted, but she was a singer first.
