When you said Blanche was being receptive and Dolly was interfering, I had a flashback to watching Golden Girls and thought "of course Blanche is the first one being receptive to a male!" Love your videos! Thank you so much for sharing
Pretzel crying about his friend leaving is probably the saddest sound I've ever heard.
Blanche seemed receptive of Buck, but it seemed like Dolly didn’t want that happening. Sometimes in horses when you live breed a herd of mare to a stallion, the more dominant mares will not let him breed with the less dominant mares and usually in those cases they need to be separated temporarily so that they all get a chance. Not sure if it’s the same for donkeys, but might still be good to keep that in mind.
Aww, Pretzel, your little pipsqueak bray, your buddy, Buck will be back in about a month or so, and you're gonna have a friend from next door come hang with you. Buck, you're gonna love your stay at Katie's, everybody is spoiled there! Dolly said, "I don't think so, get away, Buck!" 🤣 Thank you for sharing with us, Katie.
I don't have any advice but this sure did brighten my day a whole lot. I adore donkeys. I've really just discovered how smart and sensitive they are. Great animals to have, I bet.

You may have to watch that Dolly isnt running too much interference that Buck can't get the job done.
As long as Buck is brave enough to let Blanche & Dolly know that he is running the show, it should be ok. You just have to monitor it though. Baby mini donkeys will be so cute!! 🩷

OMG! It looks to me like Dolly was running interference with poor Blanche and Buck. Blanche and Buck were getting to 2nd base and jealous Dolly decided to come on over and C-Block poor Buck.

We had a flock of 14 full sized hens and a bantam rooster. He got the job done. 😆

I’m just going to say it, and I know everyone else feels the same way, but I will be the one to fall on the grenade here; PLEASE VIDEO YOURSELF CATCHING BUBBLES…….-Myotonia Congenita does not cause pain, so knowing that makes the whole process sort of cute. And the videos will get HUGE play.

I miss my donkeys. My little guy looked a lot like Buck. And the size won't matter. My mini-jack bred several full-size girls.
It might help to put Dolly over the fence if Blanche shows interest in case he gets hurt from a kick

Buck would make a much better gelding. Wish as much thought went into picking a jack as you do your horses breeding.
