An alternative to a salad spinner as you may not have one. I harvest the same and hold the bases together. Then tie twine on and leave it attached to the roll of twine. Wash the thyme while it is tied being careful to not get the twine itself wet as you wash. After it is washed to your liking use 3 feet of twine or so to spin the bunch in the air over your head or beside you. When it is dried off simply snip the excess twine at the bundle and rewrap your spinning length back on.

What type of thyme is this? You had a beautiful bush of it. Mine grew nice and tall but didnt seem to have as many leaves, it had more stem.
