BAMBA MASS | Greetings from London, 7th June: Tobaski Ram Prices, Skyrocketing to D20 - D30 Thousand

Are Gambians aware that Tobaski ram prices are sky rocketing to D20 to 30 thousand per ram? In that case, I want to warn some NPP supporters who follow President Barrow because of material benefits not national development to brace themselves for a huge shock as many of them may not get any free ram this Tobaski. The truth is that due to price hike, many Gambian Muslims and not only Gambia but Muslims around the world would not afford a Ram this year. However the important thing is, Islam does not make it a force or obligatory for all Muslims to kill a ram even when they cannot afford it. Our Islamic teachers and preachers should explain these things to all the Islamic Ummah for us to know because so many people feel ashamed and embarrassed simply because people would say this year so and so did not kill any ram meaning they kill rams just for people to see not for Allah. That is not what Islam teaches.
