The Thing from 1982 by John Carpenter is a cinematic masterpiece, brilliantly made, has not aged at all and is still impressive, of course thanks to the practical special effects, and the hot wire blood test scene "wow" everyone jumps when they see it. Every fan of good cinema should see this. One of my three favorite movies.
