Maybe you said this before, but what's the ultimate goal for the collection? Is it quantity of games? Is it specific games? Is it variety of games? Sometimes I see you keeping some games and selling others but it's hard to tell the rationale for the decisions.
This question is for the $10 challenge. Sorry if that was confusing.
Can't put my finger on it, either. It seems sometimes he doesn't know any real details on the games themselves, and may just get off on the monetary end of things. To each their own. Still enjoy the content, just scratch my head at some of it.

I think he sales some of the more expensive stuff (even if he likes the game) just to keep the ball rolling and show just how far the initial $10 can take him. Maybe you guys understand that already but just my 2 cents. Like he just shows you how it can work and you can do the same and customize how you do it to your own wants.
For sure, i mention goals in the first episode! Right now, i have almost met my console goals. In terms of game goals...I can't reasonably reach any large specific game goals until i have at least $200ish in the game funds at all times, that way when a large deal comes up...i can strike quick. Great question!

I honestly think you should keep one of the Mario party 8s. It was still a very sought after game before this pandemic and it is my favorite Mario party game!

Dude that madden 17 for ps3 is selling pretty good too! Select sports and some wii games sold really well for me during all this craziness. I say some because I personally only sold certain games. Also I never knew about Oregon trail for the wii looks pretty awesome!

Man I have a bunch of Wii's and Wii games. In the area I live, people sell everything Wii for dirt cheap at yard sales. At one point I started to pass on $10 complete Wii systems with games cause I had so many but now I'm not thanks to this video LOL! Don't know if you have noticed but N64 stuff is booming in value, just a heads up! Love your videos, keep it up!!! God bless!

Dude - You should try out pricecharting.com to look up game prices. It compiles all the sold listings on eBay and lists the average price for loose, complete, and new on the site. EBay is good to check as well, but just letting you know.

I'm sure someone already said this, but I would just sell the wii's as is. because they are easy to mod, and if your modding a wii, theres good chances, you don't need to read a disc. :)

buffing wii game is really not a good idea most data is at surface so if you buff them it will most likely not work anymore. At least 3/4 of my try shown that.
This seems to be a US-only thing. I just checked my Wii-collection (all 15 games), and prices are pretty much where they were some time ago. I even have the PAL version of Animal Crossing Wii (for some reason the PAL version isn't called "City Folk", but "Let's go to the City" instead), it's still way under 20 Euros. Same for Mario Kart or Super Mario Bros.

The Wii has a bunch of very underrated games, many of them aren't even that expensive.

I recently sold NCAA Football 11 on the PS2 for $60+, and now that Tony Hawk has been announced I just sold Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 PS2 Black Label for $35. I'd be selling a lot more of that stuff if I were you. Wii is hot, but game prices in general on all systems are going up.

The "gold" wii discs are dual layer discs, and if the wiis won't read them it means the laser is weak. You can tweak the laser resistance or just replace the lasers in them.

Hi there! Here is just a suggestion for looking up games. Use pricecharting.com and you literally just enter in the game and you get detailed stats from multiple websites. They value it down to the cent! This is at least what I use, and this is not a advertisement.
Pricecharting is a great tool to use to get a general idea of a game's worth, but it is by no means accurate. Prices are fluctuating too high right now and it's always best to check sold listings on ebay.
Ooof....got some bad blood with Game XChange--in particular the $200+ credit voucher, with no expiration date, that no store will honor because it's from a closed Springfield, MO location...ugh, kills me inside ALL the time... KHAAAAAN!

Great video Retro Rick! There really are some Nintendo Wii eBay gems out there and you definitely have (had?) several of them. Happiness is going from the Chicken Blasters of the world to Arc Rise Fantasia and Klonoa baby! ;) You did the same thing I do whenever I pick up something that isn't worth anything. It goes straight to the trade-in (or Goodwill) pile!

Beem doing a similar thing at my house with my moms old books just stuff that she has read and doesn't want or items she thought she would want. I am going through and what doesn't have high value of 10 plus dollars I'm taking to Half Price Books and getting cash. Which is great because anything they don't want they offer to recycle or donate for me which is one less trip. Even going through DVD and VHS I have found some high value items it is crazy when you look at the value you can find just in your own house.
Rick just a heads up, I just sold a copy of Xenoblade Chronicles X on Wii U for $32 plus shipping, that's one of those weirdly valuable Wii U titles just wanted to mention since it was probably thrown back into a drawer

I use and catalog all my games with pricecharting.com it's just a whole lot easier to search when all you want is the price lol

Wii Sports was only sold in the US (Canada too?) as a retail game under the Nintendo Selects badge, otherwise it was only available as a pack-in game for the first few of years of the Wii's lifespan. It was released in retail when Nintendo started releasing other Wii bundles (Mario kart Wii bundle for example) and also after the "Wii Jr." or "Wii Lite" was released. Pretty sure I have that right though it's possible I missed something...

Just bought a JFJ Easy Pro for $130 on eBay. Already saved two games and sold one for $25 free shipping on eBay. It's not 100% to make all games work again, but the ones that do, make it worth the money. Only resurface games that don't work, there's a chance you can mess up working games. Expect a two week delay, JFJ got slammed with orders because of the Rona.

You had a whole bunch of uncommon wii games . Arc rise, Oregon Trail . and the Reader Rabbit games. Those are learning games. I don't know if you have a ton of 360 and ps3 stuff, but it may be worth checking some of that out too. There have been crazy spike across all of those systems.
I got Klonoa 2 ps2 version also one of the rare one haunting ground ps2 completed from yard sale a year ago for only 2 usd each LOL.
