Dear Paula, thank you for another sweet chatty vlog. Inspired by your mince pie tasting segments, I made a double batch of butter pastry yesterday and spent the whole day making mince pies. They won't win any beauty competitions but they taste scrummy! Wish I could send you some for a taste test..... 😋
Aww Pam is so cute! I love kitties so watching them is not boring. Your pies did look good even though I have no idea what Mincemeat tastes like haha!! Someday I will have to try one again. Tasting one as a child doesn't count lol. Have fun picking a recipe. See you soon. :)
I just had a Walker's mince pie,and they were great,a bit better than Kiplings. In Canada,their not big on mince pies, iI get mine from a British store.,yummy
Thanks for doing the 'Mince Pie ' taste test, it is helpful to know which ones are good. I have the Aldi's ones justnow , they are quite good. I did wonder what knife James would get tonight and I wasnt dissappointed ha ha ! Paula , you didnt even flinch and havent at his selection of knives , so funny x
Thanking for taking time to do the intro Johnny. I enjoy it. I used to work at the Co-op in the 60’s. Lovely kitty, she seems to be enjoying your attention. Every Christmas my Nan gave us a bar of chocolate wrapped in a new handkerchief. We loved it, the smallest of things brought us such delight. No knitting or crochet for me tonight, today I had a shot in my thumb/ wrist , hoping it will help the pain from arthritis. I’d love to have a mince pie right about now, no wonder they are good, bourbon is a whisky. 😉

Can you recommend a pattern for mini skeins? I’ve 2 yarn advents this year and am not sure what to knit. I might give North Easterly a go, but some suggestions would be lovely

I love the little hood you made for her bear. I also saw one of your cats sitting on her shelf. I recognized it right away. Loved seeing them. You do really nice work.
