Eh they're crap. I can tell you from Experience. 455s are more worth the time, effort and money. But Eh have fun riding one I suppose.

I'm amazed the 701's are in service now, those faults they have aren't good and I hope they get fixed soon.

Eh I'm sorry but 455s are just so much more reliable and comfortable, and only 10 more 701s will be in service by June next year. Disappointed. But I'm happy that the 455s get more time. And by the way they haven't just replaced 707s they are replacing the 455s,456s,458/5s and the 707s. 456s are also destroyed now and the 458/5s will be sent to long marston for a new operator or scrap but the 458/4s should hopefully be moved to the PDL.

I think that that fact alone should be enough for someone at SWR to get their finger out of their rear end and get on with the rolling out
455s should be up there in the upper echelons and if they start retiring 455s before all of the 701s are in service, then there is only one way that that is destined to end

@TransportVloggerIan SWR is just a mess, the fact the 701s are ready and just sit at Clapham like absolute trash! Is just.....I don't even have the words for how stupid they are. Apparently FirstGroup have just given up. So nothing will probably happen until Great British Railways(I call it British Rail) takes over.
