@PollardAircraft Whereas a -41 or -42 will temp out at 750 C, I like the -60's because they're so easy to rig (as an A&P Mech) and if I ever met a -52 I'm sure I would like it too. I work on -41's now and there's an "art" to rigging these.
I did my Commercial Instrument and Multi at Meacham Field. Use to see Olive Beech come in just about every week, in a KA-200 those were top of the line back then. 1976 Acme School of Aeronautics, The old blue FAA test guides. I would not mind flying that airplane at all.
@sideslide23 very few can do it, but it indeed is possible...the Jetstream J41 cruises at around 300 knots, the Saab 200 cruises at 360 kts, and the Bombardier Dash 8 Q400 also cruises at 360 kts
4:31 climbing with 91Ng and 640 ITT - pause a glimpse at 7:22 and you will see 98Ng and 800+ ITT. As a test flight I think is Ok. I think not much out there can reach that speed EVEN with those adjustments. Anyhow it would have been nice to SHOW the numbers clearly at 318 KTAS and present a more traditional setting to see how fast you can excpect to fly it regularly. Anyway very interisting option for the overhaul. Cheers.
No one, in their right mind flies their right mind flies their airplane at max continuous because of fuel burn so that speed is sort of meaningless. But still a very good airplane.
@sideslide23 True airspeeds of 300+ knots in turbo props is not impossible Piaggio Avanti registers a true airspeed of 320 kts. If you watched this video, you would have seen this B200 passing true airspeed of over 315 kts.
Why not show climb rate? What costs 900.000 USD? The retrofit including new instruments? Please specify! Cost of used airplane with engines due to overhaul + new engines + new panel + new paint + new interior ...
The Conquest II CE-441 has to be considered up there with this one as one of the best TP's out there ever. I've flown the 425, 441, and B200 and the 441 with -10's are far faster and more effecient than the standard B200 king air. I see 310-315 ktas day in day out in the winter at 27 or 28k ft on less fuel than that king air. I'm not taking anything away from the King Air, just saying that Cessna did it right when they made the 441. It's too bad they do not still make it!
Have a look at the Russian built Tupolev TU-95 Bear. Four-engined turboprop high-altitude bomber capable of 510 kts. I used to fly a King Air 300 - stock, it did 310 TAS.
Nice, With those Cheltons the Garmins are just backups, Chellton was way ahead of Their Time but I think they did a poor Job marketing them, some pilots hate them but thats because they dont know how to use them.
I agree. One of the PC-12's that I fly has the Chelton system. It really was way ahead of its time. I'm proficient with it, but the better I get, the more useful I see it being. The 430/530 combo are only used for VNAV paths and TCAS.
wow, king air b200 is in my eyes the king of the turboprops! Love the King Air Series
300 knots King air B200...?? That's insane !...
I'll visit your webpage, and check out the specs of that nice aircraft. !

I fly this very airplane today. Most we've seen out of it is about 305. I wish they gave their engine data.
300 + knts makes an older B200 worth looking at.. again. : )

That video is awesome.
5* Many thanks for sharing it! The king air is one of the best planes and now it is "one of the fastest".
@sideslide23

king airs are awesome, one of my fav planes
Loved it! And love watching you on AWE tv

FABULOUS!!!

@sideslide23 probably talking about true airspeed not indicated... probably at an altitude above 15000
the engines are 0 hour? are all the updates and inspections up to date?
The Piaggio Avanti I & II both do over 400 kts.

Single engine TBM 850 runs in 315 to 320 TAS range.

Running it at max continuous. I'd like to know what it'll cruise at with cruise power.
We used to do 272 KIAS in the ATR72
hello nice sensational and exciting channel are videos and comments Take care OK thanks and regards
ITS So Amm AzING
What kind of fuel burns do you get at recommended cruise?

Yeah I’ll take my MU-2 over a KingAir any day. Never understand why people spend more money to fly slower with KingAir’s
@sideslide23 misinformed indeed, the piaggio avanti cruises over 400 kts @ FL310.
Very nice vid. Thanks.
Why it have 2 Garmin GPS units? One is not enough?
im glad to see you practice a sterile cockpit.
@sideslide23 You got owned, son!

... does the FO have modded Bose Quiet Comforts?!? lol
porbably the reason why its on sale
I would imagine the Fuel Flow is excessively high at that speed. Wonder what a normal cruise would be. Certainly not 315 knots... Great video though.
What a video. Great
300 Knots Im Scared To Go On That Plane

ISIT AS GOOD AS THE BLACKHAWKS?
I'd love to see what an F90 could do with -67's on it.
AND THE C90
Ok, great airplane, what's.it gonna cost? Three mil?
you dont kow the piaggio avanti!!! check its speeds, turbo props can do that
saweet!
Wooww!
Nooooo!!!!! We need you Americans to buy brand new planes so the Canadian operators can buy your old machines.
Meh, 300 kts in a spam can is nothing exciting. But different strokes for different folks. I want acro ability not spam can ability.
Flight Level 30,000 eh, must've been speaking to NASA that high up! You are obviously have no idea what your talking about!
Could you give the rest of us viewers an idea of the crap you are referring to? Not trying to rile you up, just not sure what you are referring to.
why are you yelling?
