The editor, that's me- Karl's Dad, has been ill with vertigo for many months. There are good days, but too many bad days, making editing difficult. Cheers
Loving the content! Carl has came so far in the past couple years. Got a question, what golf ball does he play? I would think taylormade lethals or project A. Or does he play ProV 1x?
+blackandgold BRUINS Currently #2 by virtue of the fact that the #1 has played 50% more AJGA events. The ability to fly across the country and book and pay for events months in advance literally does give some players a massive advantage over players from middle or lower middle class families. That may change this week. Cheers
he needs to work on 2 things. 1. putting stroke. If you going left hand low make sure to keep you left arm straight and hand forward. That the point of the grip. Also stop using so much wrist. 2. follow through the ball. hold your expressions.
Nothing bothers Karl, just take a look at how he didn't step away from his drive when a train went past them (just 20 yards away mind) and he still piped it 300 straight down the fairway. Most players do get distracted though. I was videoing from 10 yards behind the Tee at the WA Open )a Pro event) and one of the guys asked me to move. Good luck to him if he ever gets the TV cameras directly behind him. Karl's been taught how to handle distractions since he was just 6 and doesn't notice cameramen just yards from him, with the best example of that being in the video "Karl's best ever birdie streak" where the cameraman was literally 2 paces from him and face-n. He then stuck that Par 3 shot to a foot. The moral here- absorb the distractions and teach yourself to be so focused that you don't even notice what's going on around you. Cheers
I can see him sheltering his anger in, and I just want him to know, that you can be angry. You can't hold it in. Getting it out feels good. I know it may not be very classy, but it may help with the golfing.
Love watching these videos. I can't wait to see Karl on tour one day. Keep up the good work!
Congrats Karl on being an ajga junior all star!!
+Sam Berensohn Thanks Sam.
I really like for him to take this more mature approach to Golf! Playing for par; putting for possible birdies. Risk-free round! Congratulations Karl!
+Alex Graas and the swing is improving when swinging more within!

The editor, that's me- Karl's Dad, has been ill with vertigo for many months. There are good days, but too many bad days, making editing difficult.

oh. I hope you get better!
Tips on uncontrollable slicing of the ball? Because I am slicing in a ton and don't know what I am doing
+FunkyPlaysMC It's actually quite easy despite it initially appearing to be impossible. Check out th-cam.com/video/4aObtTiqTDY/w-d-xo.html
My advice is, try closing the club face a lot, it feels like you are Rolling your hands completely sideways but you are not
Great vid
What shafts is Karl using in his irons? And is his woods and driver stiff or x stiff flex? thanks
+justice mcdaniel Check out karlgolf.info/whats_in_the_bag

Does Karl have a bowed wrist in his backswing, if so, why?
+BANTER Don't know and don't care.If he can hit it straight and a long way- who really cares?

+Inez Ng When is school it's every day.
Cheers
+Karl Vilips sry. i meant how many times does he practice in a week
Was there any particular reason for the slow play?
+i Mc Yes, girls in the field shooting high numbers. That's not a sexist remark, merely a fact.
Cheers
Karl Vilips I know this 4 years late but when you say high numbers do you mean high 70s or high 80s or 90s
@karl vilips how would I be able to enter ajga tournaments?
Check out this info from the AJGA: www.ajga.org/tournaments/how-to-play
How does Karl not get nervous on the first tee? Every time I play in a highschool match or a tournament I always have a bad first tee shot
+Michael Clemente Karl gets nervous as all Hell. If you're not nervous, then you should be playing a different sport.
Cheers
Are you not going tomget the m1????
+Felipe Graham Karl will, once he's back across the border.
Cheers
Loving the content! Carl has came so far in the past couple years. Got a question, what golf ball does he play? I would think taylormade lethals or project A. Or does he play ProV 1x?
+Ranger Burgundy // He actually plays the TM TP. It's like the Pro V1.
Cheers
Will Karl be coming back to Melbourne anytime soon?
+Cam L Send the tickets & accomodation and we'll be there for the summer tournaments. That's the only thing keeping us away.
Cheers
Do you have plans of going pro?
Hopefully, but college comes first.
Cheers
Does Karl do a lot of physical training to be able to hit it far or is it natural. Cause he hits his wood past my driver!
+callofderp99 Just push-ups.
I’m so confused, I’ve watched one vid that said he was from North Carolina and this vid said he’s from Australia
If it was any of our video's he's always listed as being an Aussie.
Cheers.
No caddy?
+Rob McKenzie Not in the vast majority of tournaments in the US.
Cheers
Ah k. cool.
Way to go karl- Mohit
What was the course yardage
+Liam Kirkham 6600+, but hilly as all hell.

Believe it or not that's my name, Karl too!
Can you please do like a challenge. maybe like a 7 Iron only hole.
+Jan Franco Soon

How far did you hit your driver when you were 12? Just wondering how I stand compared to the champions when they were 12😂
I think that info is at karlgolf.info as well as Karl's handicap at various ages.
Is he number 1 ranked among jr golfers

Does karl get free clothes from adidas?
+Will Lorenz Nothing in life comes free- you have to earn it.
Cheers

Bro don't try and help him out, he is doing great and playing almost like a pro. He doesn't need to change a thing.
At this point he plays no where close to a pro. I'm just giving him advice. Pro's change things to you know?
I thought he putted good even though he didn't drop any.
Lol and what are your credentials to be giving Karl advice?
Those kids shouldn’t be just standing in front of him while he is trying to play

Karl Vilips thanks for the comment back !! Cheers
1hr 45min for 6 holes is a joke
Yep. The AJGA usually averages around 4 hours 20 minutes.
I can see him sheltering his anger in, and I just want him to know, that you can be angry. You can't hold it in. Getting it out feels good. I know it may not be very classy, but it may help with the golfing.
No it doesnt
Make sure you travel with a car booster pack!
+Cupillac ?
+Karl Vilips Sorry just meant a booster pack to jump start the car if battery dies. I always have one when travelling.
frozen ice? haha
+stop94motion I never went to school- just was raised by a herd of kangaroos.
