Dear Freind, it seems you are mixing two different systems, you correctly say Refrigeration is for Cooling Note: Removing heat from a body /room Similarly Heat pump you are putting Heat into the body or room, As sir had explained, Evaporator removes heat and Condensor gives /put in heat, So you will have to interchange evaporator and Condensor. Yes in modern times, you can reverse the flow of refrigerant to do this and the valve is called 4-way valve, manufactured by Sanhua
