great video however, Im a little confused on how you identify those swing high and low points for the change of character. for example @11:07 going down not sure how you did that. also you used a wick to break structure @5:30 and @7:38 but did not use it as a break of structure @9:12 could you please explain the difference? Thank you.

Hi, I have struggled to understand in the past what counts as a higher low swing. At 5:19, you class the bullish bar candle as the candle that needs to break in order to confirm the break of structure, but how about that small bearish black candle two bars ahead of it? Why is that swing low not classed as the latest higher low? Many thanks for your help. You explain everything very well. I've subscribed.

Can you clarify why at 2:20 you skip the first small supply zone and go to the one below it? It looks like the prior effort to move price in the opposite direction. Cause it's too small? Cause it's sort of above the swing low from the move before the ATH?
A ChoCh may also be used to denote breaks of internal structure (i.e., movement between swing highs/lows on higher timeframe) specifically structure created by small/minor pullbacks within a complex/deep pullback. When someone says ChoCh, my first thought is a small break of internal structure.
Tbh when someone says choch my first thought is confirmation entry on lower timeframe against the higher timeframe, and that can happen at any zone of supply or demand and that’s because choch is only a renamed concept that someone wanted to manipulate new traders believing it’s something new (not mentioning anyone in particular 😉 we all know who) supply and demand with confirming zones has been around since 1890’s well before this choch was exposed to TH-cam lol

If the pullback was the CHOCH from bullish to bearish, did we still buy of our demand area or looking for supply area for sell entry and vice versa?

Thanks for leaving a question, remember we are looking at the HTF then dropping to the LTM looking for our choch entry. So if you are referring to a choch pulling back to a zone of interest on a LTM chart then this would not be something you are looking to trade. Only the choch on the LTM at the HTM zone to enter

Thanks for watching, you simply would close a portion of the open single trade. So say your using MT4 and have 1 lot size. You can close 0.25 lots x4 times therefore taking partials

So CHOCH is basically when, say on an uptrend, the most recent low is broken? At that point we could look for an order block at the most recent high or wherever it is in that area to look for a short?
Exactly, just like the typical trend reversal. Just the new younger traders thought to name it choch so traders believe it’s a new technique. It’s also important to know where you use the choch reversal. And that’s coming on the next video- what’s the difference between a BOS and CHOCH

and also what is the difference between taking partials and locking profit?
Main difference is you are closing portion of your open trade instead of moving your stop below current price. Taking partials allows you to close profits without need of moving your stop loss

So, which candle that we can mark for our entry on LTF? As we can see on this minute from this video 5:23 you mark the large bullish candle before that engulfing for our entry
As we know, Order Blocks is marking the last bullish candle before BOS to downside
And as we can see on 5:26 there's another bullish candle which is that candle is the last bull candle from BOS order blocks
So which candle that would works well for our entry? Still confuse about this
Because there is so many hidden OB/OBS/Choch, maybe can you talk about this later as my another request if you don't mind 🙏

Thanks for watching, this is because I don’t trade with OB I use supply and demand and that’s the origin of the supply I want to see price come back to for an entry
@Matthias an order block is a block of candles, or can be a single candle. For me it is one of the same yes.
First take note of OB that is outstanding and best if they are at key levels ( either rounded numbers, psychological support and resistance not even conventional SR, session opens etc). They are.more tradable than OB in a clustered areas. OB should as well taken out opposing OB, it should equally create imbalance, etc etc

In other words, CHOCH can also be a BOS?
CHOCH means reversal while BOS is continuation.
Thanks for watching, as @gghhoosstt said, a BOS is a break of a swing high or low we look for a continuation of the trend. The CHOCH is the confirmation reversal out of a higher time frame zone
So i guess CHoch and BOS is completely different?

hasn't that supply zone been mitigated
It was a tested supply zone and price went deeper to remove the previous test which is ok for my parameters to enter
