Kaustic Plastic are the only company making figures I’m genuinely excited about. I like some of the Hot Toys releases and have a few on pre-order, but these guys are next level and making things no one else seems to want to touch. I’d find room for all the Universal monsters in my collection, but I really want an Invisible Man from the opening scene of that movie.
Wow this figure looks so high quality. Everything about it screams perfection. I normally would have zero interest in this because it doesn't fit in my collection but wow this is a beautiful piece
This looks great. We really are being spoiled right now by the likes of Inart, Hot Toys, Kaustik and third party companies such as Lim Toys and Mars Toys. I'd put Kaustik out in front when it comes to the exciting, and very refreshing, licenses they're tackling. I only have their Sir Christopher Lee Dracula. While the likeness and hands are excellent, the overall quality could have been higher when it comes to the clothing - collar and tie looks shoddy, no socks, very thick lacing on the cape, suit jacket not buttoned up. Despite this, I was still very impressed and look forward to watching their progress.
After a little research from reference photos I discovered that the jacket is not supposed to be buttoned up. It appears exactly like that in the movie and other toy companies have made it exactly the same way with the jacket unbuttoned. Collar and tie does take a little messing with to get right but as far as the thickness of the string on the cape Dean pointed it out that that's accurate.
@@timharvey5478I worded that wrong. The top button on mine wasn't buttoned up. It's so awkward to fix, and because I don't want to stress, having it fall off, I have the figure displayed with an open jacket.
Super Dope! Boris Karloff Is the man! I didn't see it on the Kaustic site. I saw a lot of cool stuff on there though including a Terrance Hill andLon Chaney figure.
Dont really have a massive interest in Frankenstein but this looks amazing and i might have to get it. Cant wait to see what they do with the Bowie Jareth figure!
I could hardly sleep last night with anticipation for this figure LOL. I've been on social media all day sharing posts and comments about it this one is really got me excited. Yes Dean the eyes do move on this one. That will be a feature of all their Universal monsters going forward moveable eyes according to Fabio. Really looking forward to the more photos and video of this over the next couple days and of course the pre-order for London after midnight tomorrow. I'll be ordering it as soon as it goes up
KP do it again👏🏻with the definitive 1/6 31 Karloff 🤩 a piece of horror history without a beat missed. Web exclusive deluxe set?…take my money😂 Thanks for sharing your thoughts 👌 happy collecting and happy Halloween.
They've already teased that and it will be the third figure released in this line. The next one will be Karloff as The Mummy followed by Bride of Frankenstein
@@sade281pre-order for that one goes up tomorrow. They also have a Lon Chaney Phantom of the Opera that you can order. I have that one on order and will be pre-ordering London after midnight tomorrow when it goes up tomorrow when it goes up
