I've done the same with three homes in AZ and when the cops came threatening us to leave immediately and all pissed off, and threatening to arrest/kidnapping us all, but when the paper work came out, their attitude completely changed, very apologetic and they had to leave....powerless... It is in fact a Civil matter, NOT criminal...
@Cosairman If I'm grasping your question correctly I would answer by saying it's because money isn't needed for the production of goods and services, only the willingness of the people to volunteer their energy. If you could walk into WalMart and merely sign for the items you need, wouldn't you gladly volunteer where needed to help produce those goods and services for other? Money and corporations create nothing. People do. The roads would still get paved, the shoes made, and the burgers served.
Hey, I'm a Texas man(and white, if anyone may care) and I'm thrilled that this man pulled it off. Because the way I see it, I think both the previous owner and then the mortgage bank dropped the ball. Those neighbors ought to be scrutinizing them, not the "opportunist". If you can't(or won't) pay for your house, that's tough *poo bub. I do think it's strange that the bank that went out of business mysteriously didn't liquidate their assets...
adverse possession takes YEARS to execute. and you don't file adverse possession paper work when you move in. had he just moved in, moved in his furniture, changed the locks, cut on the power and water and paid the property taxes while maintaining the property for three years---he would have a case. who calls themselves possessing a property like that and broadcasting it all over the news. he essentially busted his own bubble by letting everyone know what he was doing.
It really is lol why be upset if anything take head of what he did and follow suit. What the "homeowners" dont know is they could have done that the entire time.
Good luck and good fortune brothers and sisters....and remember to stand your ground if you have to go to court and do it in honor, showing the court/judge respect...and DO NOT forget, for Adverse Possession to work legally, you MUST fix this property up to local country code specs of health and safety and you are now 100% compliant with the laws...and BE SURE TO ALWAYS HAVE SOMEONE IN THE HOME UNTIL YOU GET THE TITLE IN HAND... namaste'
FYI - you can turn everything on in the name of the person on the Adverse Possession form, filed at the local County Recorders office. Everything....trash, electricity, cable, water, etc..
what difference does it make to his neighbors whether he bought it, won it, found it, whatever. Why do they care. If the law says he's not breaking any laws then what is their complaint.
People have no idea how mortgages REALLY work. Banks are not allowed to lend on their assets nor on the assets of their depositors. Where then does the credit come from that funds the (mortgage) ‘loan’? OK. I’ll tell you. The home is paid in full the instant the ‘borrower’ signs the promissory note. Which is converted into a security (sound familiar?) which is then sold…
Jump on this opportunity people...the blessings are here right now, just get your asses educated, wake up and get busy!!! Go out there and find your home and help other being foreclosed on and having their homes literally stolen...
...to the Federal Reserve which credits the bank for the face value (say $300,000) of the note. The note is then copied (securities fraud) bundled with thousand of other notes then shredded. This is why the banks can never produce the original wet ink signature note. The mortgage is also insured for full face value and once the account becomes non-performing they file a claim and get paid yet again. Then, the bank forecloses and sell the home for whatever is allegedly 'owed' on the note...
It's just the fact I seen interviews with the neighbors and you can tell racism is a part of it by their gestures and wording. I mean I'm not even black so I'm not pulling the racist card just because I'm a minority I'm actually white and act white, it was just my opinion after paying attention to the interviews
@speeddoghamsterswag It's actually not "bullshit". Adverse Possession is a first year law school concept. The guy is wrong; this is an ordinary, lawful process. There are reasons to be against it, but it's not right to act like its unlawful or wrong.
Now what, not to make it racial but I bet those neighbors are upset inside because a black man beat them all out, good for that guy, I hope he does get the house and guess what...I'm gonna follow what he did.
Good for him. Leave the man alone....if he has no criminal record, who the hell cares if he lives there...at least ya won't have a jungle growing at you're neighbors like I do. Sad thing is my neighbors handed their keys to the mortgage company and they still don't take care of the house...
@m015094 You clearly misunderstood me. When I say 'THEIR' law, I don't mean black people, I meant the Law Merchants. The one's who create the laws. Hope that's clearer. Apology accepted.
I think it is funny that his neighbors are mad that he is smarter than them. God bless Kenneth for having the balls to stand up and assert his COMMON LAW RIGHTS. Anyone on here bitching that this guy is a cheat of some sort, pull your head out of your ass and look up LEGAL vs LAWFUL or COMMON LAW vs STATUTORY LAW. IGNORANCE AND FREEDOM CANNOT COEXIST!
...and profits yet again and all on a home they have absolutely no investment in whatsoever. If the good neighbor Lowrie woman wants to demonstrate her faux indignation and obvious naivety, she should be pissed at the banks for profiting like they do with ZERO investment. Oh, the banks gets to profit yet again because that $300,000 note is on their books as an asset which they can lend another 9x through fractional reserve banking. So who's scamming who neighbor Lowrie? This story has racism...
@realskinnynews the banks own the home because they loaned the money for the person to begin living in it, something they could not have done without a loan. however the neighbors do need to watch their own affairs and not worry about what that man is doing.
Guys guys.. for all you know, this guy might be a friend of the previous owner... after 3 years claims property and gifts it to the original owner back... maybe gets a little compensation for his efforts... Is that legally possible? I don't know but it does provide food for thought?
Moon Pie okay, so if this is a horrible example of adverse possession, can you share a valid example? Or do you have a point somewhere in the upcoming response?
In an adverse possession situation, as long you keep out of trouble and you keep the house clean, updated and furbish, than they can't take the property away from you. In some states the property can be yours if you spent three, five or seven years there.
@esjihn I wouldn't be upset because a guy who obviously had to study a lot of law and a lot of the available properties got lucky. It gives me a good reason to tell my kids to go to school and study and learn to find useful information. This guy used his BRAINS to save himself 329.984 dollars. I am paying for my house, and I don't feel jealousy, I think he's a great example. Then again, I don't live in Texas, so I couldn't have done the same... Still, this guy rocks.
I think the fact is, the price wise was totally opposite on how a lot of people spill their money to buy a home. And it doesn't have to do with race color or disability.
Lmfao!! THEY BIG MADDDDD ! It is legal in Texas, he has the proper documentation . Adverse Possession is not known by everyone and they just mad mad haha . They should be thankful that as omg gets as he maintains the home and it looks decent according to HOA , Thee values continue to increase 😒
hahah neighbors are jealous they didn't think about it, i bet that neighborhood is prominently white as well. Good Job to him, if he took time to research and got house fair and square because of negligence of other.
i smell racism on the neighbors brows. thats fine if you are upset because you paid for some stuff and he didnt, but this "go get some money and by the house your self" shit is blatant disrespect you can tell what she really meant by it.
On February 6, 2012, a Texas judge ordered Robinson to vacate the house within a week. He left without protest. This didn't work, but that's not say there isn't another way...
LOL...she's just jealous cause they didn't think of it first. Shoot I would be too quite honestly but can't be mad cause he knew the law it would be my own fault for not knowing...lol
Btw that man now owns the house. Since the bank nor the person that owned it came forth and since it's was abandoned for a few years he now as the title and the people are pissed lol. Go black people.
The reason this man lost his home is because a true native ( Jews ) not identified as black or African American could never adverse possess something that rightfully belongs to him as inheritance..the key to this process is to state a claim and get recognition inheritance is the key..remember as long as you don't obstruct in commerce the government cant deprive a person of life or liberty
Why do the neighbors care? Hey he found a loophole in the system, Good for him. Whether he pays the mortgage or doesn’t pay mortgage has nothing to do with them in their house they’re jealous that they still have to pay and they are being petty or maybe it’s because he’s black yeah that’s probably yet they don’t want to black man living in their fancy neighborhood. Racist judgment all nonsense
haha...love it...what a system we have,...the law kicks the old owners out as its the justice system that aided the banksters in their heiest...then the bank(corporation) goes under and someonelse walks in...yea thats a nice justice system...odd that the old owner wouldnt have got first dibbs...that would be justice..Myron Fagan was right about the bought system...
Its like standing on the edge of a slippery cliff and asking why shouldn't you stand there. If for no other reason because there are better places to spend your time. You have a right to a lot of things, that doesn't mean you should exercise them.
Planet One Solutions Did you eventually gain ownership? I believe in this story he lost in court and was later evicted.
Do you have ownership in your case?
But cops will come back out for the criminal matter of a shooting
How did you start this process bc I'm planning on doing this to a house
What should the neighbors care, as long as he maintains the property and doesn't cause any disturbance.
Precisely
because it seems unfair to them, since they paid 1/3 of a million dollars
HirumiKato Because he beat them to it! 😉
the home values will drop for everyone one in the community
@@IwillGetyou00000 why?
Oh well! Stop giving loans to ppl who can't afford them. Quite frankly I think this man is GENIUS
This man is a genius. His neighbor is just salty. It's perfectly legal!
The neighbor's wording and body language says it all. Racism.
and NO, I'm not black or minority. I'M White, whither than the woman on the video.
@Cosairman If I'm grasping your question correctly I would answer by saying it's because money isn't needed for the production of goods and services, only the willingness of the people to volunteer their energy. wow his neighbors were doing some serious hating
Hey, I'm a Texas man(and white, if anyone may care) and I'm thrilled that this man pulled it off. Exactly
jacke sutton pilsner coltrane It wasn't legal, he just swooped in under the radar for a bit. It caught up to him and his ass was evicted!
jacke sutton pilsner coltrane he should of kept it to his self
I totally agree!, he isnt doing anything to be an eyesore nor harm to the home or neighborhood, more power to the smart opportunist!
@MotoAtheist why u mad lol and it was legal regardless of his business deal didn't work out
why are his neighbours against it? i dont get it?
he did pay for the house! it cost him 16 dollars
adverse possession takes YEARS to execute. and you don't file adverse possession paper work when you move in. had he just moved in, moved in his furniture, changed the locks, cut on the power and water and paid the property taxes while maintaining the property for three years---he would have a case. who calls themselves possessing a property like that and broadcasting it all over the news. he essentially busted his own bubble by letting everyone know what he was doing.
Wow, the envy on the neighbors face is gross!
It really is lol why be upset if anything take head of what he did and follow suit. What the "homeowners" dont know is they could have done that the entire time.

Me too help me out
what difference does it make to his neighbors whether he bought it, won it, found it, whatever. Why do they care. If the law says he's not breaking any laws then what is their complaint.

Getting knowledge is very important use it.
This is my god damn hero!
Mine too
He lost. The courts kicked him out after 8 months. Karen won.
Lol that neighbor just mad she couldn’t do it
The bank stole mine why shouldn't I have one to replace it. No one bailed me out of a fraudulent Mortgage.
Jump on this opportunity people...the blessings are here right now, just get your asses educated, wake up and get busy!!! Go out there and find your home and help other being foreclosed on and having their homes literally stolen...

Racist or not... I just understand why people can’t mind their own business... like women move around, y’all worried about the wrong things...
yes they are,
I can't believe most of you are talking about racism, when this guy (black or white makes no difference), scored on home and did I legit.
thou shall love thy neighbor as thy self!
It's just the fact I seen interviews with the neighbors and you can tell racism is a part of it by their gestures and wording. I mean I'm not even black so I'm not pulling the racist card just because I'm a minority I'm actually white and act white, it was just my opinion after paying attention to the interviews
he lost this property because he had no running water or electricity.
The neighbors are pissed because Ken Robinson found a loophole in THEIR law that allows people to do this.
@speeddoghamsterswag It's actually not "bullshit". Adverse Possession is a first year law school concept. The guy is wrong; this is an ordinary, lawful process. There are reasons to be against it, but it's not right to act like its unlawful or wrong.
@speeddoghamsterswag How did he break into the house?/ FYI: All black people are not thieves
Sad thing is my neighbors handed their keys to the mortgage company and they still don't take care of the house...
yes they are what?
no , the banks name is on the title untill the day a person pays the last dollar. the bank owns it until then.
Very slick. Too bad if the neighbors don't like it
It's none of their damn business, why do they care? It beg the differ is this an act of racism or just plain JEALOUSY?
@m015094 You clearly misunderstood me. When I say 'THEIR' law, I don't mean black people, I meant the Law Merchants. The one's who create the laws. Hope that's clearer. Apology accepted.
Problem neighbors?
We can all learn from this man
I think it is funny that his neighbors are mad that he is smarter than them.
Lol the neighbours are total jackasses. This guy on the other hand is genious.
Neighbors for these people is actually spelled NAYBORS. N-A-Y means "Not any of yours."
...and profits yet again and all on a home they have absolutely no investment in whatsoever. If the good neighbor Lowrie woman wants to demonstrate her faux indignation and obvious naivety, she should be pissed at the banks for profiting like they do with ZERO investment. This guy is a better neighbor than the liar-loan guy who left.
HELL YEA WINING!! I dont know why the neighbors are mad. Dont be mad at that man cause he was smarter than all yall!!!!!!!
@realskinnynews the banks own the home because they loaned the money for the person to begin living in it, something they could not have done without a loan. however the neighbors do need to watch their own affairs and not worry about what that man is doing.

I love this guy!! Dude please reach out to me!?!
Moon Pie is adverse possession a crime or an except of the normal process for housing ownership ?
Moon Pie okay, so if this is a horrible example of adverse possession, can you share a valid example?
Or do you have a point somewhere in the upcoming response?
Moon Pie what’s the process and where can one get the paper work to submit paper work?
Moon Pie okay so being that I’m in the Dallas Fort Worth area in Texas, do you have any recommendations?
Props to this guy. Knowledge is power. Your average Joe/Jane needs to stop whining with jealousy.
@2:28 jealousy, good for him and i would do the same.........by the way i am moving in a block away for $16 next month
In an adverse possession situation, as long you keep out of trouble and you keep the house clean, updated and furbish, than they can't take the property away from you. In some states the property can be yours if you spent three, five or seven years there.

you know what, if he did his research and found a way, good for him. the neighbors are just jelly
The true cost of homes comes to light.
this guy rocks
Somebody was sucking up to him. IDK if that's what Flower Mound do
I think the fact is, the price wise was totally opposite on how a lot of people spill their money to buy a home. And it doesn't have to do with race color or disability.
Even apartments are outrageously expensive, so don't go live in Lewisville, otherwise, will run into people that may have a dark side
She was a Karen before anyone really knew what a Karen was
Lmfao!! THEY BIG MADDDDD ! It is legal in Texas, he has the proper documentation . Adverse Possession is not known by everyone and they just mad mad haha . They should be thankful that as omg gets as he maintains the home and it looks decent according to HOA , Thee values continue to increase 😒
Why are the neighbors so mad lol. Ain’t their business
Must be klan area
Um does anybody want to squat in the white house LOL?
Can't as it's being occupied. Only if the property is abandoned, or appears to be abandoned by the natural person.
No shit.
rofl this is a great story, good on the guy for taking advantage of bureaucracy to get himself a nice house
the housing market is just a lot of playing around
hahah neighbors are jealous they didn't think about it, i bet that neighborhood is prominently white as well.
You have to do some research, but yes, that simple.
On February 6, 2012, a Texas judge ordered Robinson to vacate the house within a week. He left without protest.
This didn't work, but that's not say there isn't another way...
He still got to live in a nice place for months for $16 lol. Place like that's probably $2000+ a month in rent
@onlytoloveyou1
I believe the forms are different from state to state.
LOL...she's just jealous cause they didn't think of it first. Shoot I would be too quite honestly but can't be mad cause he knew the law it would be my own fault for not knowing...lol
only if people knew their rights, shaking my head!
Btw that man now owns the house. Since the bank nor the person that owned it came forth and since it's was abandoned for a few years he now as the title and the people are pissed lol. Go black people.

Its like standing on the edge of a slippery cliff and asking why shouldn't you stand there. If for no other reason because there are better places to spend your time. You have a right to a lot of things, that doesn't mean you should exercise them.
Some say smart... I say a lazy, but it looks like he can afford a nice interior designer. His ass will be out when he can't afford the property tax...
