I really admire people who use a mouse for art, I really can't use a mouse or else it would look terrible, but a trackpads are ok, but traditional is best for me, or a tablet with a pen thing, that's what I'm most comfortable with

He used a intuos medium tablet. It would takes years and years of practice to get this good with a mouse (which is possible)

Screenflow is a Mac application that is 99 dollars. SAI I heard is good, primarily line artists and Anime artists enjoy it.
