not only does he sing magnificently but his guitar playing is immaculate.
Let's make the ballads great again!
Ultimate cowboy song.
There have been many renditions of this classic song but aside from Marty Robbins and don edwards this is the best I have heard
BEAUTIFUL rendition- belongs right up there with Marty and Don.
better as we know the HEART of this man!!!!
its not up there with Marty Robbins but a good rendition none the less
it's definitely right next to Marty's. Best cover I've heard, ever. Don's isn't as good in my opinion.
I'm not a usual fan of covers, but by my sinful soul this is the sweetest sound I ever heard for this song. Right on par with good ol' Mr. Robbins himself!
Wonderful job he did on Marty Robbins song .Marty was my favorite singer of all time
amen; and The Comstock Cowboys, Virginia City, Nevada, sing El Paso as closely as anyone I have heard. David John, sounds so like Marty! When we lived in Dayton, we were blessed to see/hear the guys often. We miss them!!!!!
we LOVE this man...his Christianity the life he lives, his sincerity!! We have been honored to meet RW on several occasions. He was so kind and gracious when my 93 year old cousin met him in Visalia CA (Maverick Coffee House) and in Kanab, UT when we attended Western Legends!!! We attended the Bridgport, CA Barns and Terraces concert in 2008. RW "did" church Sunday morning, alone! What a BLESSING: no "church service" has ever been more spiritual!!! Heaven will be much better having RW HAMPTON there!!!!!
That's as good as I've ever heard...you did it justice
Once we were as close as nay brothers ever,, I miss my old pard,, tons of memories in the saddles. I would love for you to do a version of "The Gringo Pistolero",,
Awesome rendition of Marty’s song
He does a great rendition of Marty Robbins classic song
I wish Americans as a whole remembered there roots we are all a bunch of transplanted sinners the only thing that equalizes us is our Savior and when it’s time to hang our hats for the last time. The cowboy has always stood as a symbol of “the real man” tough and unforgiving but he still bends his knee for one thing
GREAT STUFF.
Keep it coming - good stuff here for sure
yes...amen
So great a singer
Very good.... my fav of Marty
Been wearing this one out.
Well done version of Marty’s classic song.
Love this song so much because of its powerful message and beautiful cover. I’m not a religious man but after a hard loss i indeed accepted life is the masters to take or give.
Hey man it's not too late to still give your life to Him. We all get our calling. Maybe you haven't had it yet, maybe you ignored it, maybe this comment itself is it... I don't know for sure, but what I do know is that it's not too late for you to turn to Him. He loves you. I love you. God bless.❤
Wonderful singer
Well done mr Hampton you sang Marty’s song well
