Every vehicle there can be small drawbacks, but in this price and segment this is one of the best vehicle. I am owning XE and getting mileage on highways 20 AC and 23 with out AC. Confidently can drive 100 kmph with out any jerks and easily can overtake

few corrections(I have same car from 2 years & 20,000kms): 1. Turbo engine is not at all underpowered. All turbo engine provides lag in low rpm and then picks up better after 2500 rpm. You just need to keep the car in the gear that is suitable according to the rpm. (The car is the fastest in segment for it's price). 2. Suspension is not stiff, it is very soft. That is why the car moves vertically up and down on high speed. The issue about the road noise and potholes is the less insulation and more sound from Suspension which makes us feel that we are getting every sound of bad road and tyre. 3. The infotainment is bad when android auto or Apple carplay is not connected. Once we connect it, the system works good. 4. The Ac is bad and needs company's attention as it produces alot of noise(and due to insulation issue we hear more sound). 5. Mainly only Renault cars autolock from outside. No other normal car autolock from outside itself. Cars are meant to get autolock from inside only after 10 or 20km/h. So, your point is very invalid. 6. Modern cars doesn't produce locking sound, it looks cheap so all companies are trying to remove this sound and reverse gear sound. 7. Yes, the service stations are less but everyone should consider it before buying rather than complaining afterwards. 8. The quality is low, panel gaps are more. 9. The clutch is heavy and the brakes are not so good. 10. The gearbox is notchy and could be improved. 11. I bought the XV turbo white for 8.8lakhs on road and I am loving it. Very powerful once the turbo spools at 2500rpm.
Thanks for pointing out, and taking your time to describe the issue which I have covered. Here are some of my inputs. 1. I never talked about the engine lag, I just complained about the low power. I usually treat my car very nicely. My RPM hardly crosses the 2500 RPM (Usually it happens only at the time of overtaking). In real life scenario it’s hard to keep the suitable RPM. If the speed difference is even 1 - 2 KMPH, the engine starts vibrating. However, this car is really fast. 2. Suspension: I think the suspension are on the stiff side more. You can feel it while driving on bad roads. I have also tried the Tata Punch, and I liked how they respond on bad road conditions. You hardly feel the anything in the car. 3. Infotainment: I completely agree. The Android Auto and CarPlay works better than the Maruti. 4. AC: Completely Agree. 5. Most of the Cars auto lock themselves, even my Hyundai i10 (2012) locks itself. I am not sure about Maruti, but most of the cars equipped with this feature. 6. I completely disagree. Every car key have the option for Turning Off and On the locking sound, even the reverse gear sound. It might seem complicated but very easy to operate. (Again, my i10 2012 have this feature) 7. I Agree. In my case when I bought the car the service centre was very close to my location, but after few months it moved to far away. Just my bad luck. 😢 8. Agreed 9. Agreed 10. Agreed 11. I love my Nissan Magnite as well. No car is perfect, in the end it really depends how you treat your car. My Nissan might have these issues but I loved it. I have the XV CVT, and engines doesn't feel underpowered at all. You press the pedal, and engine responds quickly. Yes, suspension is stiff. It irritates only when going through a continuous patch of rough road. Otherwise, suspension works great. Insulation could have been better. Its been more than a year, no rattling till date. Braking wise I would disagree, the braking is one of the best in this segment and price range. Yes, infotainment is slow is respond. But Android Auto improves the experience. AC wise, I haven't felt much discomfort. It works nicely. I live in Gurgaon. Yes, SC's should increase. No auto lock /unlock is not a great concern. It is our primary responsibility to lock the car as soon as we exit or unlock the car. Auto lock feature will actually increase safety concern as we will be dependent on car locking itself automatically. The lock/unlock is mostly provided by Hyundai and Kia. Also, not a concern.
I'm facing a front break sound when applied lightly but service people say it's common in every car And when I take the reverse there is sound and they say since it's 1ltr petrol engine it's common . And the mileage meter never goes up or down and always stays at 13 and they say try it will change in future . They have answers for every problem and not a solution.
I think ye sab new Magnite me bhi hoga. Ho sakta hai Key wala issue solve kar diya ho, par baaki sab same hoga. Better hoga ki aap ek baar Nissan Showroom ja kar check karo.
Only thing matters is service centre....in a whole big city like Delhi you will get only 1 service centre..😮 horrible. If i knew about this i would have opted for maruti brezza or tata . kitni bhi achi car ho ya bekaar car ho Service centre 3 ya 4 hona zaroori hai delhi city mein. Its a capital...yahan nahi toh kahin nahi.
