Glad to have stumbled upon this new channel featuring all of your lovely specimens! I hope that we can expect to see some films about the geology behind the formation of some of these and of you out in the field collecting samples.

Oh thank you! That sounds like a wonderful idea! I actually run tour groups here in Ontario if you're interested! I go through a lot of details and discuss what you can find and how best to find it at each digging location. :)

I just collected a ton of baryte recently and oh my it is super heavy indeed! I think the ones I've collected were at least 30lbs!

Spectacular specimens. Seriously wow! How do you store all your minerals? I have many packed away until I can get more display cases but I'm always looking for new idea for storage and display. I rotate what I have out (only non fragile hard minerals) bc even though I'm a frequent duster it's always risky as many of mine have been scratched even when I'm so careful.

I agree, they're so fragile. I have a room dedicated to my mineral collection with a big TV shelving unit and some other shelves. I keep them on display there and I take them all down, dust everything, and reorganize every couple years. It's a lot of fun. :)
